Problem with fcgid, suexec and multisite Drupal6 sites

Hi, for security reasons, I'm trying to migrate some Drupal sites from apache mod_php to cgi-php, with fcgid and suexec. This works well for normal sites and multisite Drupal7 installations. It' not working for a multisite Drupal6 installation, I get the installer instead of the actual site. Any ideas what could be wrong? regards Rolf

Dear All I need to develop a web application which will allow its users(reg.) to submit some document to the system. Then these document will be reviewed by Report Editor and will be combined to produce a single report. Can I use DRUPAL to develop such a application? If so what are the modules to be added or changes to be made to DRUPAL. Also what should be done to merge reports. I may need to some page algebra on the reports submitted by the users. Converting to D7

In looking at some of the contributed modules that I have yet to convert to D7, there are a few that I am seriously thinking of changing to Fields and Views, even though that means a bit more overhead than letting them remain as node modules. Doing that seems like it means the best way to distribute them is as Features. A) Can I create a 7.x branch as a Feature without having to change the 6.x branches from their current nodule module format? B) or: Is there some way to define the node and get it to create a hook_install that could be used in a module? (I know I can do that for default Views.) Hi, how can I get a default view back like the taxamany/term view as I made changes to it and recked it. is there a way I can kill what I did and re-import it so it is at its defaults again? A gallery for Drupal 7?

Hi, Does anyone know of a gallery solution for Drupal 7 that has the ability to restrict access to specific roles and to upload images in bulk? At the moment I have to create 2 galleries a month with about 60 - 80 images per gallery.. Doing it an image at a time would take far too long.. I have looked are "Brilliant Gallery" but it just threw out lots of errors and "fast_gallery" has no access control.. Everything else seems to want you to load photos one at a time.. Alternatively is there are way to use Drupal user accounts for a form of basic authentication so I could just get a basic one page page php galley script and allow access to valid Drupal users using .htaccess directives? TIA

With both Garland and Bartik, copied as previously said, If I change the colours, remove the black footer in Bartik or alter the blue grad in Garland the themes fail to render and I suspect corrupts the database so that drupal cannot be started. WSOD. This is easily repeatable. I have 4 multi sites running on the same drupal 7 installation all but one run ok, this makes me suspect the database is corrupt. Havent a clue where to look in the database. Thinking I may have to reinstall that multisite. Thanks Roger

Ubercart Google Analytics Integration

I have a D6 site where we just installed Ubercart Google Analytics Integration. In GA I see that 5 sales have been made. It says that two sales came from third party referrals, but I happen to know that those 5 people who purchased this week, did so from a link we sent them in an email. We know that because there are no published links (anywhere) to this product. The only way a person could find this URL is via our emails. Not to mention that we emailed these particular people the link and then they purchased. My guess is that two of these people somehow got to the site via a referrer, and then contacted us and we sent the link and they clicked that and purchased. So GA feels that since they initially found the site via a referrer and then eventually bought, the referrer thus gets "credit" for that sale. I suppose that's logical, but I wanted to ask if anyone has any other information or experiences to share on this subject. This data of which referrers send paying customers seems like it will be quite valuable. Thanks, Fred

Drupal 7 Bartik and Garland themes

As per http://opensourcecms.pro/drupal/howto-drupal-7-sub-theme-creation-step-by-s… I copied both Bartik and Garland default themes over to /sites/all/themes renamed them and made the alterations to .info file and the template.php file as per the tut and the themes worked out of the box. I unthinkingly went to settings in the /sites/all/theme/bartik2 and garland2 to alter the footer color in Bartik2 and the blue header in Garland2 and the themes are now dead, they will not load. WSOD. If I ?q=admin and change the theme back to default Bartik , Garland or other themes these work as expected. I did note with the Bartik theme that I added engine=phptemplate and that seemed to kill it so I deleted the line but it does not reinstate. I have flushed caches in <Performance> and with drush flushed all caches, deleted browser history and have run out of ideas. Is there a trick or some thing I'm missing. I need a clean 3 column fluid width theme with no borders or edges and simple template and css files, I find the garland theme easy enough but the Bartik theme is very complicated, more than I need. I would greatly appreciate help on understanding the issues and how to fix for the future. Cheers Roger
