HTML Filters

Hi, very much a newbie who feels that she is constantly "fighting" Drupal to get it to do what she wants it to do. Fairly simple "home" page before members log on and get all the complicated stuff - list of events, accepting bookings for same and the like - with Views, Flags, Tokens etc. CKEditor installed and fully operational. "Full HTML" selected and all "Input Filters" disabled on "Input Formats" page. Yet when displaying the page much of the HTML formatting I have implemented has been stripped off. Nothing special just paragraph alignment - simple stuff like text centering, etc. Looks fine when editing, but preview and much of it has gone. As it does when seen by a visitor. Tried it with CKEditor disabled and plain text editor selected . Doesn't seem to make any difference - formatting still gets stripped. Not much point in using a wysiwyg style editor if Drupal strips all the functionality out. Also when using CHEditor the edit box has the same background as the main site, which makes life difficult if it's a dark background and the text one is editing is black. Would appreciate some clues. Content_slider

Hi, I've installed content_slider for my website. and have put the blocks on the header of my page. When I create my featured content it doesnt show up on the content slider. But I keep getting an error message like this. warning: Missing argument 2 for content_slider_load_nodes(), called in /home/ayathull/public_html/modules/content_slider/content_slider.module on line 139 and defined in /home/ayathull/public_html/modules/content_slider/content_slider.module on line 168. Anyone have any idea what its talking about? thanks, Ayath

Views, taxonomy, arguments and blocks

I am using Views to list taxonomy categories as arguments in a block. In a page this works fine, but in the block the links just link to the base site. Any suggestions? Joel

Only one CCK Image in the Teaser

Hi list, I am using drupal 7 and in my content-types i have a imagefield. But i want see only 1 image in the teaser and all images in the full length. How do I change the quantity of images in the teaser? Any help appreciated. Regards Stefan

Problem updating webform to 3.5

Spam Registrations

Hi, I get thousands of user registrations which more than 90% are spams. I do not want to use protections such as Capcha as they give difficulty to the user registrations. Some one suggest me how I can control the spam registers, though it is moderated, I do not want to scan and unblock the hundreds of registered users registered. Hi All I just made a site using Drupal6.2 and in front page I have kept "user login" block. I hosted this site using some third party web server. I tried to login to new site from my PC using my user name and password and prior to that I was capturing the packets those were being send/received by my PC. By checking few packets content I could figure out the user name and password in plain text. So it looks others can see these packets and get the administrative user name and corresponding password and hence can modify site content and it is really dangerous. I assume people must have thought of it and there should be some way to make sure username and password should be encrypted by default hence avoidimg third party role in site content modification. Please guide in this regard and provide some pointers how can I make username/password secure while logging in sites based on Drupal. Regards Austin

Submitted patch errors (Authorize API tests bugged?)

Hi, I submitted a patch (http://drupal.org/node/1020006) to make chmod values configurable. Fixed the patch so it applies from the base directory and retested it. The patch gives a couple of warnings and errors, all in Authorize API. However, the errors are 'Parsed page successfully.', 'authorize.php page title is correct.', '"To continue, provide your server connection details" found', 'Raw "System Test FileTransfer" found', '"System Test Username" found'. Drupal 7 menu items language

Hi all, we would like to upgrade our multilanguage site to Drupal 7 (with a fresh install) and I'm testing it. In Drupal 6 I we used to have a "language" option when a menu item is created, option that I don't see in Drupal 7. Someone suggested me to use blocks to create menus that show only in certain (localized) pages, but the option "Show block on specific pages -> Only the listed pages" when is set to (example) "fr/*" it doesn't work. What is the solution in D7? thanks in advance -- Giovanni --
