Restrict URLs

Hi All, A small query.... Is there a way to restrict certain user roles from viewing certain urls within my drupal site. I need my clients to see reports but not see seller reports. i have disabled it from the nav menu but they can just type it into the address bar and see the reorts. Any chance of a module to help me out. Kind regards, Ayath

My first proof of concept will be a survey form. I've installed the webform module and it seems pretty easy to use. The results page is not too exciting, so I plan on doing something else to display parts of the results in a more graphic form (pie chart, bar graphs etc) Will need to research more on the options available to me in that area. I decided that version 7 wasn't ready yet for newbies. This is based on the many modules that aren't updated and the dearth of books. Do you need field level permission? Unless you have some filers that some can see and others not or you have some fields some can edit and others not then the basic out of the box Drupal node level permission shoud work. Field level security is good if you want to also have there phone number but only registered user can see the phone number. If you do not need the field security disable the module and see if it works. Refunding and Store Layout and Themes (Ubercart)

Hi All, I was wondering if you guys could point me in the right direction. I will be using ubercart to create a store for a service based e-commerce system. I'll be using the userpoints module as a paymnet system. I was wondering if there was any way to refund customers userpoints if the order gets cancelled or rejected by the admin. Also does anyone know of any modules which will help me get all my services (products) onto one node. I don't need any images just a simple dropdown list of all my products and then depending on the users selections more fields are shown to fill out. Is there any way to assignt different sellers to different products- so only that seller will be able to process that order. One more thing... I really like the default garland theme but I just needed a few enhancements such as the buttons to be more stylish and the navigation to be a bit more slick. I don't want to change the layout but just the looks and colours. Any tweaks to suggest would be helpful. Are there any themes already which is based on garland but a bit customised. That's all. View problem

We have a members content entry form which has a title field number of drop down selections for choice of books and other literature, a date selection, From, To and Repeat for events. Set up a view to display the entries, works when logged as admin, all good. However when logged in as a member, the view does not display in a page, menu item or block. Roles are "Authenticated User" and "Authenticated member", there are 4 types of Authenticated member. Permissions are set for viewing all of the fields but not for edit. The page, block and menu display when 'Authenticated member' is deactivated but this means that everyone can view the result. It's got me stymied, can't figure out what's wrong. Can someone help please Thank you Roger

I would do something with the User Points module. Here is User Points for Ubercart http://drupal.org/project/userpoints_ubercart - but it only has a Drupal 5 branch. Unlock Server

Hi All, I am having some difficulty creating an ecommerce shop using drupal. However it is not the normal ecommerce shops that we are used to seeing on the web. It is essentially a web portal to unlock people's phone's based on the models they select and the phone information they provide. Here's a list of what features I would like to have on the site: It shouldn't look like a traditional web-shop but more like a web portal or server. Ability to select products from a dropdown list.After selecting the customer should be required to enter some more information (IMEI numbers etc.)when the customer does finally chekout credits are deducted from their account based on how many codes they've purcahsed and what each product costs.Of course they will have to purchase a certain number of credits beforehand using paypal/google checkout etc.When the customer does submit the information/complete the transaction- the data should be stored in a backend database for the administrator (me) to see and submit back unlock codes. Yeah I was afraid of that. Wish there was something like overriding the tpl.php files but nooo. And alas I didn't write the site to begin with so too late for doing things right to start with. whats the best way to have tabbed panes in drupal 6.x and 7.x

Hi All I have very limited knowledge on Drupal. I have installed Drupal 6.x, I have made the front page. Once user logs in, it lands in my login destination panel page (configured usning login destination module). I want in my login destination page, I should have around 3 tabbed panes. I downloaded quicktabs module, using quicktabs module created a block (having 3 tabs). Added the block to login destination panel page. I am able to see the tabbed panes as expected. Now please clarify --------------------------------------------- 1. Is this the preferred way to have tabbed panes in Drupal 6.x ? Here I face a minor problem. I am using CTI-Flex theme (a zen sub-theme), I have configured different colors for header, footer, background etc (I have installed color picker module). The login destination page (that has tabs), looks bit odd, it does not have the configured colors for header, footer and background. So my front page headr/footer/background color, login destination page headr/footer/background color are entirely different. Any idea what needs to be done. 2. What is the preferred way to have tabbed panes in Drupal 7.x, as my plan is there to upgrade to Drupal 7.x 3.
