Problem with blog summary

Folks: My site at http://es.earthednet.org has several blog listings. As I've been testing and adding to the site, I have one blog that displays normally on the blog listing page: http://es.earthednet.org/blog/1 The latest blog, however, doesn't have a "read more" link or a summary that includes the first few lines of the blog. I've checked the settings and for each of the blog files, they are identical. What could be happening? How can I fix this? Thanks, Bill William A. Prothero http://earthednet.org/

Views filter to just show editable fields

I am trying to make a view which just shows editable fiels (custom access module using node_access). Using drupal 6. I was hoping a filter similar to "published/unpublished" but I haven't found it. Hi, Just wondering. Does anyone know any way to get a copyright symbol into the title of a page? I know you can get it into the body using © but i need it to display in the title. Cheers, - Andrew

D7 module installation

I've just installed Drupal 7 rc2 to play around with it. The module installation feature rocks, it's so much easier to just plug in the download link and then let the installation software uncompress and extract the tar archive on its own. It even create the modules directory under sites/all for me. Good stuff. Marty

Dashboard, OG, and Views - in Atrium

Hello, I'm customizing my open atrium site with a few new view, and I've run into a strange problem I can't find a sollution for. I've created a view with a block display that I'd like to display in the dashboard. I've been able to do this for a couple of views, but a couple of newer views aren't appearing the the dashboard option under block. I've added them in the dashboard settings. The weird thing is that if I'm trying to add them the home page dashboard then I can add them, but If I try to add them inside a group dashboard I can't see the views blocks available. What controls which blocks are available, is there a setting I missed. Also what is the relation between views and organic groups? Thanks Idan

Very Strange Security Breach

Hi gang, The author and URL of an anonymous comment was changed about three months after the comment was originally posted. The change happened last week. The new name was in Chinese and the URL is to a Chinese web site. The content of the comment was not changed. I've never had anything like that happen before. After I discovered this I changed user/1 pw (that is the only account on the site with admin privileges). There is no other evidence of other damage at the site that I found in the wake of this discovery. (Site was using 6.19 at the time of the breach). I'm stumped. Ideas anyone? Shai

Latest News Module

Hi. I'd like to have the latest blog postings in an abbreviated list on my home page. Somewhat Like dRockLatestNews modules. But, each posting in the dRock modules require a thumbnail image and shows a "?" if no image is present. I don't want my users to have to create a thumbnail for every blog they post. What should I do to just get the first 100 or so chars, with a title, listing of the latest 6 or so blog postings? Bill William A. Prothero http://earthednet.org/
