Menus corrupted - Help!

One of the sites I manage didn't take Drupal 5>6 well. This is my 3rd site doing this, always follow the posted instruction carefully, and nothing was out of ordinary. I got so many duplicated (or some of them are triplicated) admin menu items outside of Administer menu. If I install a new module, it shows up under Navigation menu instead of under Administer menu. What this means is that it won't show up under http://mysite.com/admin (I didn't know they were directly linked). Ran update.php like a mad man. Emptied every possible caches manually but to no avail. Optimize DB using DB Maintenance module but no effect. Then I noticed more than half of the menu items have "Reset". So I clicked them all. Every time I click Reset, the shown menu items changes inconsistently. I went along and clicked them all, only to find more than half of what supposed to be are now gone. Running update.php put me right back to where I started: duplicated and triplicated admin menu items. I posted this here a few weeks ago but didn't get any response. I wanted to post at DO but couldn't figure out where to post. Views Node Reference Fields

I have two CCK content types: seminar and speaker. A seminar can have multiple speakers. When I view the seminar node it shows the multiple speakers. I have a view that displays the seminar, has the speaker as a relationship in the view and the speaker's name (aka speaker node title) as a display field. The view displays the first speaker, but not the others. What have I done wrong? Gregg

a.active issue

This must be another newbie question. I just themed from a scratch and having a problem with a.active. Say this is an Image Gallery. When it is http://mysite.com/image then a.active works fine in the Primary Menu, but as soon as I go deeper, http://mysite.com/image/tid/nn, it won't work anymore. When I was building static website, I used javascript for this to work. What is the Drupal way to remedy this? I don't think writing my own javascript solves this since other sections are just http://mysite.com/node/nnnn. Hi, i'm using managing news and when i try to share some feeds on twitter the link that simpleshare makes with tinyurl does not work. If we compare the url we can see some problems : URL orig: http://news.google.com/news/url?sa=t&fd=R&usg=AFQjCNHpAG6SWWY9eXiCINj5kkByB… URL tinyurl: http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&fd=R&usg=AFQjCNHpAG6SWWY9eXiCINj5kkB… i don't know why but basicly the changes are: "news" to "www" and the ampersand simbol to "&amp" What's wrong? any idea? thank you for your attention, and sorry for my bad english. greetings -- ----------------------- José Antonio Uribe jauc27(a)gmail.com

2 themes at once

We have one theme, Marinelli working but it has no easy way of adding regions so I want to use mpFree which seems to provide all the attributes I need. Question can I leave the marinelli theme working and on line while developing the mpFree theme. If so how can I switch between themes to see what needs adjustment. Both would use the same database and content. I'm stuck and would appreciate assistance Thanks Roger

nice menu as primary links flyout not working

Hi All, I am using nice menus and have configured it to be my primary links (using "print theme_nice_menu_primary_links($primary_links)" in my page.tpl.php). Things are working with two levels of heirarchy A | \/ B But when I add C as a child of B, I expect it to flyout to the right, but unfortunately it just drops down too. Also, in my nice menu, I don't see the arrows that usually show up when I expose the nice menu in one of the regions. I am not too familiar with CSS, so can anyone who knows about this help me out here? - Ben

CSS Problem

Hi all, this is kinda newbie question. Drupal 6.19. One of the CSS files, datepicker.css is not getting loaded even though all other Date module CSS are loaded. If copy/paste the code of the CSS to my custom theme CSS, everything works. How do I correct this problem? How to create list of user's content?

Hi, my users would like to have list of their own content (content they created), somewhere in menu or profile, sorted by content type (and inside of each type by time). While searching for solution I have found a module "Usercontent": "...The module adds information about user's content to his/her profile's 'view' tab grouped by content type..." That is exactly what I am looking for. But unfortunatelly, there is no 6.x version, only 5.x and 4.x. Is there some other equivalent "ready to be used" solution, suitable for 6.x? I could probably do it with "views", but I'm quite new to drupal and frankly that module is rather complicated for me...
