Views slideshow per row

Hello, I'm trying to create a view of nodes, where each row has a slideshow field filled from a cck multiple image field. So for each node I would upload 3-5 images, and then create a view to list all the nodes, but to create a slideshow or a rotator for each one. Something along the lines of http://www.sortfolio.com I think I can do it by using the Galleria module and then displaying nodes instead of fields in the view, but I like the control fields gives me and I want to create a different node view. cannot see all Views

Dear all Drupal developers! I can't see all of my Views - how is it possible? I checked these: - permissions: I am logged in as admin, and I added all the permissions for all the blocks. - put all marks before all Views modules. Where to know if I see all views? Where to find Views which related to users or registraion? Is there anything else to try? Thanks a lot, gezope

about location and Gmap

Hi all! We are making a Drupal site about shops. We made a map about these with GMap module. We let users to add their own location, with Location module. (We can see them on user_location View, so it also works.) *The question is: how to mix them? How to make a map with all the shops (which are nodes, and easy to list them on the map), AND with the user's own location?* Every user should only see his own location. We should make it as a new View? I'm sure we are not the only ones who have this problem, and I'm also sure that others solved it before - sorry if you are bored about someone asks it again. It is also perfect if you give me useful links! Any suggestion is welcome! Thanks for all, gezope

Is it possible to print node outside of domain?

On my main Drupal 6.19 site, I have my performance schedule page using View (but not Event). I would like to print this View node on my other Drupal 6.19 site which is my student portal site. They are two different domain/server. Is it possible? Currently I am doing this with I-Frame but this is so ugly. I don't need blocks printed. I only need the content of this view. RSS won't work since the schedule nodes are not created in timeline. View sorts them by the show dates. RSS won't respect it. setting dst in url_alias table to 255 length

Hi there, I know it's bad practice but would there be any major implications (in e.g. updates) if I change the dst length in url_alias to 255 in stead of 128 ? My use case is that I have a bunch of aliassen based on menu_path (a product catalogue) and with the catalogue going up to 4 levels down the paths can get long (longer then 128). I know about this patch (http://drupal.org/node/288946), just want to figure out if this is "common" practice or a big nono. Tnx, Hans

Example of Book Page

I'm brand new to Drupal and trying to learn it enough to migrate my company Web site to it from straight .xhtml/.css. I'm not a professional coder, but have developed scientific applications over the years in FORTRAN, C, and now Python. I'm also partial to the command line interface and use GUIs with less enthusiasm. I'll have a lot of questions where pointers to where I can read the answers are what I need. Right now, I'm reading the content handbook and would like to see an example of a book page/content type so I can better understand if it would be appropriate for me. Thanks, Rich

Drupal 6.19 OG6x-1.4 Up until this semester, I needed this student portal site for one school only. Now I need another portal for different school. Before: http://mysite.com Change needed to Login page > http://mysite.com/school1 http://mysite.com/school2 They don't need to share anything but the server space and the domain name. What would be the best practice for this situation? While school2 is still blank, I have too many things under school1 including menus. Hi list, I must to create a table with name + location + phone number ... of my collegues one 1 node. This content will be update by "normal" people. I must have filtering feature of this table. How can I do that into Drupal without create an nuclear station ? I have searched jquery exemple, but nothing. Can you give me some ways ? Thanks a lot.

Displaying img src without rendering image

I have a use case where in a View I need to display the code for a link to an image so that it can be copied and pasted elsewhere. The field is just an imagefield and the link points to an imagecache derivative image. The problem we're having is displaying the src value for the image without rendering the image itself. An example of what we need to do can be seen at http://www.magazineimpulse.com/banners3. The middle column was generated using the "Rewrite the output of this field" option in views with the following code: <a href="http://www.magazineimpulse.com/spin" target="_blank"><img src="[field_image_cache_fid]"alt="spin" title="spin" border="0" ></a> Is there a way I can render he entire link without the image being rendered?
