Node created date vs latest revision date

Hi all, hoping for some help. I have a content type that is set by default to create a new revision each time a node is edited. This is because we have pretty liberal content editing permissions for many people, so we want to be sure changes can be reverted easily. However, I just realized that in the node page and in Views, the "posted" date always uses the date of the last revision, instead of the date the node was created. So older articles that get a grammar fix are showing as newly created. Is there a way to fix this? I've searched the forums, but haven't found an answer yet. Thanks! i'm trying to theme a view using views-2.x but i don't understand the new way for do this, how can i customize the format of the nodes in the view? how can i use the $content, $title, and $fields variables ? The view is very simple, just filtering a content type. But i need specific format for the output. thanks in advanced for all of u

difficulty moving drupal from folder to root?

I am new to Drupal, and I'm setting it up for a 1000 member organization's website. Drupal will run their website as well as using CiviCMS (thanks for the recommendation!) for our membership needs. Because they have a current website, and I can't take it off-line while I develop the Drupal one, I've set Drupal up in a folder. Now I'm beginning to worry about how hard it will be to move all this to the root directory??? Am I worried about nothing? How difficult is it to move from the folder to the root and how many things can go wrong? Am I asking a really stupid question? Thanks, Tina

Reducing duplicates in a list of terms

Hi, I have the below scenario: - I have a Course content - the Course relationships with a Vocabulary Knowledge Area, where one course can be in many Knowledge Area. - A Course can be of type Undergraduate or Graduate After that I need to show a view ( using views 2 module and cck module ) that have a list of terms on Knowledge Area that are relationships with the courses of graduate, and another list of terms relationships with the undergraduate courses. I'm trying, but the page list of terms with a number of terms equal the number of courses of graduate or undergraduate. Someone has a solutions for this? Page Size Limit?

Hello, We are having trouble saving pages longer than 64K characters. Drupal seems to just chop off everything after the first 64K characters. Does anyone know what's going on? Why does this happen? How can I fix it? Is it a database problem? Should I change something in my database? Cheers, Daniel.

Problem with file downloads

Hello, I have users uploading files using IMCE. For some reason, *some* *times* when you try to download a file by visiting: http://mywebsite.org/files/userxx/some-file.zip Drupal gives a "page not found" error. I don't know why it does that. I've looked all over the admin pages and I can't find anything that looks relevant. I thought that Drupal had a setting to have Drupal manage file downloads instead of doing directly from Apache, but for the life of me I cannot find this anywhere. Help? Daniel.
