Search engine issue

Does anyone know a way of getting the search engine to index static html files in the files directory? The Search Attachments module does a good job with PDFs, Docs etc, but I don't know how to do plain html files. Edward Peters Oxford, UK www.drupalproject.iofc.org

FCKEditor and <p> </p>

Hello, I have some 5.7 drupal site with the latest FCKEditor modul. If I have a textarea field with empty value, the FCKEditor always put an <p> </p>. How can I disable it? Menu positioning

Is there a way to instruct Drupal 6 to show a certain menu without actually putting the node you are viewing into that menu? I'm using primary links as the source of secondary links and I'd like to instruct Drupal that "this node I'm viewing is associated with this menu item" so that the correct combination of primary and secondary links is displayed. I can achieve this by just putting all the relevant nodes as third-level menu items, but then I've got a LOT of stuff in my menu (I've got about 700 nodes).

Gmap views, on click map moves far away

When click a marker the map moves to a very distant place on the map... any idea? I tried autozoom but It seems to afect only the map load. Thank's! Pol

dependant content_taxonomy autocomplete textfields

Hi, In a CCK node type with drupal6, I have 2 content_taxonomy autocomplete textfield, but the vocabulary for the 2nd one (keyword) should depend on the 1st choice (subject), because I have a fixed list of "keywords" terms (~1000) for each subject. I can put all the keywords in a single vocabulary, where the first root entry is the subject, but I don't know what to do then to filter availables words in the autocomplate field, depending on the subject choice in the first field... Any idea about the best way to do this ? (all modules about dependant fields I saw are for D5) Thanks a lot -- Daniel

I'm following the steps at http://drupal.org/node/860 I realize that this node is not current for 6.x, but I thought I'd give it a whirl, anyway. I've got the following error: Fatal error: Call to undefined function node_object_prepare() in /<xxxxx>/public_html/ab612/includes/common.inc(1537) : eval()'d code on line 29 Can anyone suggest how to update this script for use in Drupal 6?

dinamic form id

Hello, I have a lot of dynamical generated forms in one page. Every form is a block and I used panels module to put these to one page. Depend on the $delta I made different forms. TinyMCE

When I bring up one of the dialog boxes, like insert image or html they display {$lang_theme_code_title} and whatnot instead of proper titles. In the case of the html box it no longer even shows the code for the page anymore. I have disabled the module and ran the uninstall and then reinstalled a new version of the module. Also note that I installed TinyMCE 3 instead of 2.1 to begin with and since changing back to 2.1 I can't fix the problem. Here is a video of the problem http://screencast.com/t/SatUNiLLB. I am just wondering what are the steps necessary to completely remove TinyMCE module from Drupal. I am having some problems, and disabling the module, uninstalling it and deleting it from the modules folder, removing instances of TinyMCE from the system table don't seem to fix the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am now forced to use FCKEditor which has some limitations for linking to nodes. -- Chris McCreery

character encoding

Drupal stores text in its database with escaped entities like &. I'm trying to use actions to send the body of the stored text to a listserv. Is there a way to get it to send an unencoded version of the text? I'm using Drupal 5.7. I am not sure what you mean by 'short url'. If you mean search/node, yes it works. On my local host, if I search for, say, 'green', it goes to a page whose url is search/node/green. But if I do the same on the web server, it goes to a page whose url is just search/node. That's my problem. Any further ideas?
