using a cck field in an action

I want to configure an action in v5.7 that sends an email that includes information from custom content fields. Is that possible? It seems that the 'send email action' is limited to the variables: %site_name, %username, %node_url, %node_type, %title, %teaser and %body. Input Formats

Hello, Is it possible to configure the Input Format "Filtered HTML" to allow additional tags? I don't want to give "Full HTML" access to users. Some users are making their pages on a word processor and then "Save as HTML" (ggrrr!!!!). The resulting HTML doesn't have any line breaks, but it uses paragraph tags. I would like to allow paragraph tags in Filtered HTML. Thanks. Daniel.

using 2 hosting to run a module? crazy message

Ok, I'm not crazy. Simply, I should change hosting but I'd like to wait the end of the year. I have 2 website, one using drupal and a hosting with linux, and another that instead is hosted under windows. The fact is that the mailhandler module runs only under windows's hosting, because my provider don't want to install some php libraries under linux. It's absurde but things are true. The question is: Since I can use the same sql database, can I run the mailhandler module under windows hosting, and see the content published by users on the other website?

Need help configuring Drupal site within static site

I'm trying to create a series of Drupal sites inside an intranet site for my organization which uses mainly static pages. I have this section in my apache2 config file: #Created 19-May-2008 by EKZ for the Drupal 6.2 Communities of Practices sites (except KM) Alias /cops /var/www/drupal-6.2 <Directory /var/www/drupal-6.2> Options +Includes +Indexes +FollowSymLinks AllowOverride all </Directory> This works fine for the site at http://example.com/cops; I've visited this site and built the databases. It seems to work normally. Now, however, I'd like to create sites like http://example.com/cops/test2. Thanks so much for all the tips on forum/mailing list integration. I am still exploring the options with the client. Now I have another puzzle. I am using Organic Groups for a teaching situation. Makes sense. People who have paid for the class will get access to the class manage by OG. But I would like to create a unique home page for the class and not just a list of recent posts to the group. I've read lots of threads on drupal.org, but haven't found a good solution. Ideally, what should happen would be that when a registered student logs in they are directed to this landing page which serves as a portal for the group/class.

problems with modules

Hi people! Im new in this list and with configuring drupal in my site:-) . My problem is that i was activate most modules and appears this error: *Fatal error*: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 165933 bytes) in * /home/htdocs/drupal/drupal-5.7/includes/database.mysql.inc* on line *188 * The problem* *is that is impossible to touch the apache configuration and going to the web not arrive to acces to administration menu. There are other option to unable modules? Thanks*! *

3 domains, 3 themes, 1 instance. Any clue?

Dear all, I have 3 separated domains: domain1.com , domain2.com and domain3.com. All three are on the same hosting. I want to share the same content, the same modules, but I need to have different views and blocks per domains. I was thinking the easiest way was to have 1 theme per domain. But how to do that? Another way? The domain access would be great but work only for subdomains, not 3 differents domains. Any clue? Thanks, Denis

Adding Form In Block With hook_block()

I would like to add a simple area calculator form (length x width x depth = area) to a sidebar block, and I'm having problems figuring how to get the form to show up in the block using hook_block(). I've gotten the block to show up in the blocks list and have enabled it, but I can't get it to show up. I've been using the blocks chapter in the PDD book as a guideline, but I must be missing something. hi all have just started working for the first time in a serious kind of way, and i think i've made a stupid mistake. the site i'm trying to build is initially not for the general public, but only for the workers of the organization i'm working for while they get used to adding content, using forums etc. so i was playing with blocks, making them accessible only to authorized not anonymous users. so the stupid thing i've done is done this for the login block, logged out and now i can't get back in getting an "Access denied You are not authorized to access this page", even when i go to: http://mysite/?=user any clues? pault -- pault [at] burngreave [dot] net
