Hello,
All forms on my site produce an "internal server error 500" including the login, search and contact us forms. If I delete and restore the database or upgrade my drupal installation the error is fixed , but only for a short while and then suddenly without doing anything, the error reappears!!!!!!!!!!!
What i noticed is that when the site is working fine, the forms load quickly including the login form loading the stored username and password quickly. But when the error is there, the forms are *so slow *when loading.
I contacted godaddy , they took a look and said the error is not from their side.
I don't know what keeps bringing this error up and why do any updating to the database and files remove it temporarily. I can't even log to the admin. back end. Someone suggested increasing the php memory which I did but through inserting lines in the htacess files to no avail. he told me you might need increasing the RAM through your hosting himself!!

This could mean you've used all of the available memory within the server after time has elapsed. If you reboot the server instance, everything, not just Drupal, does it go away for a while?
@Earnie : Sorry, being a bit amateurish, I am not sure what you mean by rebooting the server instance and how to do that. I do know that deleting the whole database and/or drupal files and doing a fresh installment and restoring the db from another backup makes the forms work, but only for like few hours before the error reappears.
@Fred : I want to make sure that the problem is from their side. I don't wanna switch to another hosting only to find the error still there.
@Eric: hacked!!!! Now that's reassuring :)

Try and check error logs? Godaddy if I rem correctly allows you to temporarily enable error logging and you can try checking logs for figuring out the specific error.
I have faced similar issue couple of years ago on godaddy and I think I found the clue in error logs. ---------------------------------- Dipen Chaudhary QED42 : We build beautiful and scalable web strategies ( www.qed42.com ) Blog: dipenchaudhary.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/dipench

Have you kept an eye on the reports page (admin/reports/dblog) ? If you can get to the watchdog table, you might see the errors in there. That's a good place to start. If you can restart the system (do you use cpanel or plesk? It should have a restart system link or button) and it works for a while, you might be using up memory or all available mysql connections. If the only way you can get the system to start again is dropping the database and re-installing, the database tables are probably being corrupted. I've seen mysql fail before apache if a system gets too busy.

My site has been hacked in GoDaddy. Make sure you use secure FTP!

Get better hosting. GoDaddy is among the very worst. Really.

Internal server errors should all be logged to the apache error log. Use your cpanel interface to take a look at the http log files and see if there is more information there. I've been running GoDaddy drupal sites for a while without trouble. Whereas I there are other providers I prefer, I would not say we've got a clear case of Godaddy problems here.

Thanks all for your help so far.
I also searched for the error lines in Google and find those:
http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=304268.0 http://www.perlmonks.org/?node_id=24447 http://htmlfixit.com/cgi-tutes/tutorial_Common_Web_dev_error_messages_and_wh...
problem is I know absolutely nothing about coding :). So I don't get much of what's written. Should I just switch to another hosting?..or is there something I could do?
And which hosting do you recommend if I make the switch ?? http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=304268.0

Hello,
All forms on my site produce an "internal server error 500" including the login, search and contact us forms.

Your problem is from this:
Symbol `client_errors' has different size in shared object, consider re-linking
A quick Google shows its pretty much a GoDaddy problem with their PHP/MySQL installations (shared objects are on the server level, not in Drupal). I would contact GoDaddy support and ask them about it. If they try to give you the run around, then I would up and move to another hosting company. As many others have said, GoDaddy is absolutely horrible when it comes to hosting.

Thanks all for your help so far.
I also searched for the error lines in Google and find those:

problem is I know absolutely nothing about coding :). So I don't get much of what's written. Should I just switch to another hosting?..or is there something I could do?
And which hosting do you recommend if I make the switch ??
you really don't want to do your hosting on goDaddy!! [or yahoo, or aol or any other major!]
there are sooo many other good options.
I'm on canvas dreams and they are excellent.
best,

that's pretty normal. your host is not responsible for drupal! you will need to ensure that the host has the correct config to support drupal. check the requirements for drupal, compare with your host. if they match then it should work.
drupal does love ram, so make sure you have more than you would normally. some hosts dont give you enough to let drupal run at a good speed.
i recommended canvas dreams cause i run lots of drupal sites there, they are well set up for drupal, enough mem etc. they also dont oversell, which is a HUGE plus for performance, and they are green [which is also important to me].
but there are TONS of other hosts out there, many cheaper.
all of this is assuming of course that the problem is indeed a mysql issue related to the config at godaddy; i haven't followed the entire discussion, so please excuse me if i am off-base.
best of luck!
