Send email action

I have created a simple action to send an email when a node is created/modified/deleted. It sends fine but the %username variable has the original creator of the node not who just modified it. Has anyone else seen this same issue? problems translating header/title of views

hello, trying to figure out how to get multilingual set up, the lack of a thorough tutorial or centralized doc is killing me. my problem now is that even though i can see and change the header + title values of my views using: /admin/build/translate/search These changes do NOT show up when I switch language...?? Any idea why? Do I need to write something special in the header or title section to trigger the translation? Or a special way to render it on my pages? Thanks for your help! Sebastian.

Drupal server copy

I have copied the mysql database to a new drupal installation also the /default files, image files, /modules, etc I have altered settings.php to show the login Now I get 'Site off line' due to technical problems I'm stuck, what have I missed, what do I need to get the new installation to read the copied server files and database which is the same name. thanks Roger

code block style

Hi, I've just started setting up my own website http://www.linuxcrusaders.org with drupal 7 where I'm trying to post various linux tips and code as I go along. I would like the code blocks to appear with a black background and green foreground (like a terminal). I tried the geshiphp module, though I'm not sure this will accomplish it, and besides which it doesn't seem to be quite ready for drupal 7 yet. Therefore, I wondered if anyone could recommend another way of achieving this, perhaps editing the css stylesheet. I'm not sure if this is also relevant, but I am using the Mayo theme. Thanks for any help. Ed.

User Login form alter

Hey all, I've been working on this site in need of a form_alter on the user_login form and using the below code the only item I've been successfully able to alter is the submit button text. The account name doesn't change according to what I specified, nor do the other form items unset. I've successfully altered the user_register form with a separate case in the module shown below. I have Login Destination and LoginToboggan installed and have tried variations on 'user_login' to no avail and I still can't understand why one alteration (the submit value) works while the rest do not.
