I want have pop ups

" I have a button ADD ... when I click on the button I want to get a popup/modal window in which I will be having a form with 4 form fields. In the pop up/modal window I will be having 2 buttons --one SAVE and other CANCEL.... After I click on the SAVE in the popup/modal window I want to display the form entries as a table and I dont want that data to be saved into my database...I just want the data in the popup to be passed on to my screen where I had the ADD button so that I can just display it... I am having one more button together with ADD called DONE..on clicking the DONE i want to save the data to database..... I dont want to save from pop up because the ADD button can be clicked many times to add data... final DONE has to store the entire thing.." Is this possible? I know about LIGHTBOX2 module... but is this possible with this module..? Or shall I write a jquery for this... as a separate function/file? -- *Cheers* * *

creating pop-up window for delete and edit actions in table in module file

I have written a custome module table for showing some information which is fetched from database and every row is having edit and delete actions. Both are working fine. But whenever I click on on edit or delete action action it opens in other window leaving current page. I want these actions to be taken place in pop-up window. Path Redirect or Custom URLs

Hi Folks, A site I'm taking over has had content migrated from another CMS. The old URLs are important and need to be preserved. There is an admin assistant available to do the grunt work. My question: Which method is better from an SEO perspective (is there an another perspective???, if so do share): - Drupal core's path module; paste in the old urls as the path alias - use http://drupal.org/project/path_redirect to redirect the old paths to new ones created with the pathauto module. I don't know if it makes a difference or not... but all the old paths end in "shtml". Other suggestions? The site is running 6.20 and clean URLs. Thanks in advance, Shai

HTML Filters

Hi, very much a newbie who feels that she is constantly "fighting" Drupal to get it to do what she wants it to do. Fairly simple "home" page before members log on and get all the complicated stuff - list of events, accepting bookings for same and the like - with Views, Flags, Tokens etc. CKEditor installed and fully operational. "Full HTML" selected and all "Input Filters" disabled on "Input Formats" page. Yet when displaying the page much of the HTML formatting I have implemented has been stripped off. Nothing special just paragraph alignment - simple stuff like text centering, etc. Looks fine when editing, but preview and much of it has gone. As it does when seen by a visitor. Tried it with CKEditor disabled and plain text editor selected . Doesn't seem to make any difference - formatting still gets stripped. Not much point in using a wysiwyg style editor if Drupal strips all the functionality out. Also when using CHEditor the edit box has the same background as the main site, which makes life difficult if it's a dark background and the text one is editing is black. Would appreciate some clues. Content_slider

Hi, I've installed content_slider for my website. and have put the blocks on the header of my page. When I create my featured content it doesnt show up on the content slider. But I keep getting an error message like this. warning: Missing argument 2 for content_slider_load_nodes(), called in /home/ayathull/public_html/modules/content_slider/content_slider.module on line 139 and defined in /home/ayathull/public_html/modules/content_slider/content_slider.module on line 168. Views, taxonomy, arguments and blocks

I am using Views to list taxonomy categories as arguments in a block. In a page this works fine, but in the block the links just link to the base site. Any suggestions? Joel

Only one CCK Image in the Teaser

Hi list, I am using drupal 7 and in my content-types i have a imagefield. But i want see only 1 image in the teaser and all images in the full length. How do I change the quantity of images in the teaser? Any help appreciated. Regards Stefan

Spam Registrations

Hi, I get thousands of user registrations which more than 90% are spams. I do not want to use protections such as Capcha as they give difficulty to the user registrations. Some one suggest me how I can control the spam registers, though it is moderated, I do not want to scan and unblock the hundreds of registered users registered.
