new theme with no koala

Just committed a new theme to CVS, and created a project for it: http://drupal.org/project/nokoala Based of my site - http://rosskendall.com since a few people took an interest in the CSS drop-down menus. If anyone can help with making the screenshot visible (I don't have permission for <img> tags), that would be great. Also, is there anything else I need to do for tar.gz download? Here's the blurb: "The No Koala! theme is a simple but elegant single-column /phptemplate/ theme for the Drupal content management system. It's goal is to focus on accessibility and usability, and should be suitable for a blog or other simple websites. "The theme uses XHTML and CSS, and incorporates a CSS dropdown menu that is designed to be integrated with the Drupal menu system." Hope you find it useful. Cheers, Ross.

I changed it to HTML so your screenie shows up. You'll need to email the infra list if you need to edit it as it will have to be changed back first. Howto: table with surrounding fieldset

Hi. For my module settings page I would like to build up a table of available extensions (don't care about, just think of a simple table) but this table should be within a fieldset (collapsible). [code] $form['ext'] = array('#type' => 'fieldset', '#collapsible' => true, '#collapsed' => true, '#tree' => true, '#title' => t('Extensions')); // build extension table foreach ($extensions as $key => $extension) { $form['ext'][$key]['status'] = array('#type' => 'checkbox', '#default_value' => $extension['status']); $form['ext'][$key]['weight'] = array('#type' => 'weight', '#default_value' => $extension['weight']); $form['ext'][$key]['title'] = array('#value' => $extension['title']); } [/code] There can be other form elements above and below of this fieldset (for example the submit button. How do I handle this? I can build the table and can build the fieldset but the table doesn't want to appear within the fieldset. Any ideas (or a handbook page)? Stefan

dear listers, first, I am sorry to have posted this messages to both the themes and the support lists, but I just am not sure where this would fit more. I am concerned with the accessibility of drupal powered websites for the blind and visually impaired. I have searched the drupal website and read what I could find about this topic but it seems to me that this has received little attention so far. none of the posts I read was elaborate enough. here are some points to contemplate about: 1. for visually impaired users, I want them to be able to change the font size / color / contrast on the fly. one site that does this beautifully, but it's not drupal powered is our strategic partner's website at: www.yourdolphin.com 2. provide keyboard users the possibility of reaching some parts of the website using accesskeys. I know that this method isn't preferred from what I read about it, but may be the listers can share their views about this point. I am blind myself, and never need to use accesskeys as my screen reader has built in commands to reach to various elements on most websites. actually, most modern screen readers have this possibility. I am thinking that structuring the website's documents well will often be most handy. like using different heading sizes, and using bulleted and numbered lists. the project I am involved in currently is for the company I work for, which specializes in assistive technology for the blind and visually impaired. it's at: www.nattiq.info it still requires lots of work, specially that it's going to be multilingual and has a right to left language. still, I would highly appreciate it if some of you could give it a look and steer me in the right direction. any comments will be warmly welcomed. Fixing theme for Theme Garden

Hi folks, I took up the challenge of fixing the Theme Garden theme to work in IE: http://drupal.org/node/79557 I ended up creating the tpls from the raw html output and have been hacking at the original css. It still doesn't work right and needs more attention. How to show titles of content in taxonomy page?

Hello, Not sure if I'm wording this right, so I apologize. I've got categories assigned to pages. When I click on a category name like this: http://beta.menashalibrary.org/taxonomy/term/1 The very top item has the taxonomy title displayed, but none of the items under that have their title displayed. Is this something that's set in the template? I looked in node.tpl.php, and added in <?php print $title ?> and that did fix it, but then every other page displays the title twice. Any ideas?

Hello, I've got a site where I'm using the multiflex theme. One of the things I'd like to do with it is to have a side menu like this: http://www.lakeline.lib.fl.us/ Where all the side menus flow together, and where just the top menu item has a rounded corner. Is this possible with drupal themes? - jody

Contemplate theming

Hi, I'm having difficulty achieving some output using the Contemplate module - hope somebody can help out. I'm using CCK, imagecache and contemplate to produce a 'case study' content type. The teaser view page has been customised using Contemplate module, inserting a thumbnail image created by Imagecache module (namespace of 'focuson'). The code is outputing markup for the image thubnail even if the imagefiled ($field_focus_on_thumb) is empty. I use a combination of blockbar and nice_menus (both contrib modules) on my site: http://lacrosseareacameraclub.org/ . Rounding the top would be a matter of CSS, I guess. I haven't tried that with blockbar. Another option off the top of my head (not tested) would be to make a container div for the sidebar and theme that and remove any margins/padding from the tops and bottoms of the individual blocks. BTW, if I'm remembering your name right from another thread, you're another Wisconsinite.
