I can't seem to get "vertical-align: top; " to function at all with the theme "Framework"?

I have a custom home page that I developed and I am having the biggest bear of a problem getting it to "vertical-align: top;". Does anyone know how this might be done with the Drupal platform. I tried several different methods included encasing the image in a div etc. etc. Nothing worked so far. My theme is framework. My content type is "full html". problem with fbconnect logout process in custom theme

Hello all, I have face problem with fbconnect module. This issue is form my custom theme.I have alter the login block to match with my site design. Now when i connect with my facebook account i can connect with my site properly. But when i try to logout from my site at that time i am not going to logout from the facebook. Even i have set from admin that ask to logout from facebook to user. When i use garlend them then its work proper for the signout process I.E at that time it will ask me that would u like to logout from facebook... One more thing if i enable the fast registration process form admin panel then i can not get any registration confirmation mail in my given email address.... I have almost try all the given solution provided by various form.. And even all thing are configured well. And also add the required code in my page.tpl.php , page-front.tpl.php. But still problem with my logout process of custom theme. Please help.. Thanks in advance.

implementing CrossSlide in Drupal 7

Hello all, If I wanted to implement a "CrossSlide" slide show on a drupal page, where would I put the following: <script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery-1.4.2.min.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="js/jquery.cross-slide.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="js/personalwork.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="js/js-core.js"></script> I understand they have to go in the "head" area, but what document head? I found a head area in html.tpl but am unsure if this is the place. Any guidance, input, or direction to a tutorial would be much appreciated. PChuprina

Disabling the "readmore link" to show the complete copy? (sorry second post)

Hello all, Unfortunately I lost all my prior emails and have to ask this question again. I've been struggling with this for the past few hours and am extremely frustrated. How do I disable the "readmore link" to allow a full posting to show and then make the link invisible. I actually made the link invisible, but because of it not being disabled my post also disappeared and I was not able to view it. This is for the front page of a website. Micheal, I've found that often those new to theming in Drupal struggle with volumn of classes and IDs present in many of the Drupal themes. Please note that like all things Drupal this can be modified to your liking. If you're willing to dig deep enough and do the necessary overrides (hooks/preprocess) then the theme output can be tailored, including the removal of many of the element classes and IDs. For your reference, <li class="menu-114"> is generated by the core menu module. The "114" is the ID number of the menu entry specific to this tag. You can get this info by looking at the number in the URL of the edit form for the specific menu entry. You will not find CSS entries to this item by default but is included in the markup so that you can add css entries specific to the menu item if desired. Consider calling theme('links__mylinks', ...); in your tpl file. Then in your template php you can have your override function called theme_links__mylinks($vars) if there is no mytheme_links__mylinks function in your theme, it will fallback to mytheme_links, or default theme_links Do a THEME_preprocess_HOOK($vars) function function mytheme_preprocess_links__mylinks(&$vars) { print_r($vars);exit; } This should get you started in gaining control over the markup output for the menu entries. As for links.css?lgkgm7, is your question about the "?lgkgm7"? If so I suspect that it's simply a random value added to the end of the path to the links.css file to prevent caching of the file. Of course this is all just one persons perspective on your questions. Other might provide better or different input. Simple slide show

Hello all, Is there a simple jquery slideshow(nothing special) that can be implemented in Drupal 7? Everything I've seen seems to be beta or for 6.0 The type of slide show I'm interested in can be seen at: http://myfriendfrans.com/ which is "cross slide." Would it be too hard to implement in Drupal 7, considering I'm relatively new to 7? Any help, guidance, or input is greatly appreciated. P Chuprina

Hello and greetings, I am trying to understand the internals of themes and have run into a few questions that seem to be related. I was hoping to find some enlightenment from the list. TIA for any replies. I found references to several classes that I can not find in any .css files on the order of: <li class="menu-114">. While I was trying to find the .css file that contained these class definitions, I notice that in the page source, in the marinelli theme for example, many calls to css file that have references attached to them, i.e. links.css?lgkgm7. Can someone explain what this means? I think the menu-xxx classes are being generated dynamically but I do not understand where that is happening and it appears to be inconsistent whether it is defined as a class or as an id in the page code dumps that I have examined.
