Dreamweaver Cheese

A Dreamweaver extension could serve the purpose of luring people in the right direction. I was the typical designer who started out with the Dreamweaver crutch before I discovered the joys of xhtml/css . Most people that use Dreamweaver use it because they don't know any better and you can't really change that until they sink their teeth into a project and find out that it is really holding them back. I explored Mambo/Joomla! before Drupal back in the day because it did have a Dreamweaver extension and that made me feel like I was on familiar ground. I've seen other designers do the same for similar reasons. In the end the extension would not be that useful but I see valuable PR opportunity. Making blocks collapsible

Hi list, What's the easiest way to take an arbitrary D5 or D6 theme and make blocks collapsible with javascript? I'm thinking in particular of the Deco theme, and with various menus shown as blocks. I'd like to be able to make blocks collapsible and set as collapsed/uncollapsed by default, with visual feedback to show status. Thanks in advance, Tim -- Tim Vaughan 07725749263

Do you build off of the Zen theme?

I'm wondering what people think about using Zen as a starting theme on which to build other (fixed-width) themes. I remember hearing that some people like it because of its visual simplicity, but I know that its use of z-index can complicate things with incorrectly overlapping elements that have different z-indexes. Is there any consensus about this? I know Hunchbaque is a great place to start but wonder what people think about Zen. Best, Ezra Gildesgame
