In Search of Theme Developer

Project Summary Washington & Jefferson College, a private, liberal arts college in Western PA, is seeking a reliable, experienced Drupal Developer/Designer who is able to work in U.S. time. The project entails developing two custom Drupal themes with multiple theme templates for 2nd and 3rd tier pages. The Web Manager will provide an Adobe PSD file to aide as a guide for the design work. These themes must work cohesively with a multi-site set up and must be flexible for multiple blocks. Desired Functionality The site is a multi-site set up. Both themes must include: * A 'home-page' template, a multiple column second-tier template, and a third-tier template that includes the content, navigation, and possibly a block. * Multiple menu structure - a top level, static menu (ideally with features similar to mootools/jquery animation); a second level menu with a multi-level submenu; and a dynamic navigation menu based on taxonomy; footer menu which replicates the top level menu. * Logo and Search * Multi-column content area where multiple blocks can be inserted * Multiple block background based on suffixes similar to those developed by Rocket Themes * Content block which pulls in related articles based on taxonomy tags * Content block for RSS feeds and other extraneous content * Wrapper - which will allow for the display of a third-party page within the desired theme. This is desired but not required. * The two themes will be used for the following departments: o Athletics o Student Life Developer Requirements Thorough knowledge of Drupal, XTML, PHP, and CSS are required. The experienced developer/designer must be comfortable in modifying content types and views as necessary to meet the goal and for the theme to function. The developer must be willing to research existing modules for requested functionality and work with the Web Manager and ITS department in order to complete the task. Time frame Deadline for completion is mid-late July 2010.

1 header/1 footer for 3+ pages

Hi all. I have this site with a front page and 2 subhome page, plus 1 page.tpl.php for the internal page. All pages have the same header and footer. I don't want to rewrite the same header/footer (php+html code) 4 times, so my question is: how can i manage this situation ? How can I write only one header/footer ? In the header and in the footer there are drupal functions (like theme()) and not only static html. M. Theming Nice Menus with Graphics

Hello We are using "nice menus" with a background graphic and want the graphic to only show up on the top horizontal bar and not the child dropdown lists. The horizontal list looks great, however on the dropdowns the parent graphic is being repeated rather than showing the secondary links normally. The code we are using is from this DRUPAL discussion: http://www.drupal.org/comment/reply/209989#comment-form FYI: using core 6.16 and Nice Menus 6.x-1.3 Does anyone know how to override this dropdown issue?
