Hi all, I just wanted to let you know that there will be a devroom about software interface design at FOSDEM this year. People involved with design for Drupal might be interested in sending a proposal. It would great to have you there. This is the full CfP: This is the Call for Participation for the FOSDEM 2015 Open Source Design devroom. We invite you to send in your submissions about design work on free, libre and open source projects. FOSDEM is the Free and Open source Software Developers' European Meeting, a free and non-commercial two-day weekend event that offers open source contributors a place to meet, share ideas and collaborate. For the first time this year, there will be a design devroom at FOSDEM: a full day of talks around design work on free, libre and open source projects. The Open Source Design devroom will take place on Sunday, February 1st. We mean ‘design’ in the broadest sense, from user research, to interface and interaction design, typography, and usability testing - all in the context of open source projects, which we believe introduces unique challenges. Designers, and developers working with designers are welcome to submit proposals. What and how to submit ===================== RECORDING AND LICENSING: It is quite likely that the talks in the Open Source Design devroom will be audio and video recorded. By submitting a proposal you consent to be recorded and agree to license the content of your talk under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license. FORMAT: 30-minute presentations (we are leaving 15 minutes for questions and discussion). BEM compatible themes

Spam emails

Hi I just posted to this list and fairly quickly got what I can only conclude to be spam email back. The email in it's entirety is included below - the only changes I've made are to obscure or delete anything relating to my email address or my host. As the email I received below doesn't appear on the archive for today (yet - but my email in response to Jerome's email has) I can only conclude the spammer has harvested this from the themes mailing list and therefore wonder if the spammer is simply watching the mailing list archives for people to spam today? Will he pick up his own email address and spam himself now, I wonder? I understand the mail archives are publicly viewable with our email addresses on any mail we send to the list. I'd rather have our emails not shown on the list if it's just a target for more Chinese spam to arrive in my mail box. Alternatively I suppose we just stop using the list for any meaningful conversation? CAS update

Hi everyone, I am using the CAS authenticate theme ( Premium Responsive 7.x-1.7 (default theme)) and it does not see all of my incoming students as real. It will not authenticate them. 1. So how do I authenticate them manually? 2. How can this problem be fixed? I am very new using drupal which you would know from my questions. Yes, I will seperate navigation from the content of the 60 plus pages. I understand this. Some one suggested to use panels for all these inside pages. I can use 2 column layout. Left for content and right for navigation. Question is in my understanding of this concept. This means should we create 60 such panel pages with 2 column layout? some content on left column is static and some comes from the views. OR should ww use 2 column theme and create 60 plus basic pages? I believe if we use pannels then I don't need a theme for inside pages. I have pge.tpl.php for the home page.
