How to create a insert page for my module

Hi all, and sorry for my bad english. I have create a module called zbhwill. It works (via all themes downloaded from drupal.org i can insert, update and edit). Now I have created my themes, but I need to create an insert page for zbhwil module item. How ? I use phptemplate for my themes. I have created node-zbhwil.tpl.php but it works only for view the item saved. Tnx in advance. Themedev module ready for 4.7

Hello, I know not many people use my themedev.module, but it has a few fans. So I'm here to announce it's now compatible with 4.7 and has gained a block. The block has a compact version of the settings page, allowing you turn flip the various stylesheets on and off more easily. It's also set to position fixed so it floats above the content of the page, and can me moved temporarily by double clicking on the title of the block. I've also separated the form highlighting styles to a different stylesheet - though this isn't that helpful because not even Firefox/Safari show much generated content on form elements. (Opera does better but crashes on my mac...) For those of you who have never used Themedev it simply uses diagnostic styles to highlight page structure - those of you with well established patterns of working with bookmarklets/wed developer toolbar and such like will probably find little to interest you in Themedev. One problem with those however is persistence - every time you surf to a new page you lose the highlighting. The latest version of the web developer toolbar allows you to 'persist styles' which helps, but it's clunky. I actually spent a couple of hours looking into moving themedev functionality to a Firefox extension, but decided against it for now. However with continued improvement of the Firefox extensions[1] available I'm thinking this will be the last time I update Themedev. Mollio template can now be GPL'ed

I just noticed that the author of the Mollio templates <http://mollio.org>has added GPL to the allowable licenses. I don't recall who was working on a drupal port but we can now host it on drupal.org.

No, that sounds close to it. /me goes to read on it. Drupal.css has a designated width for that field and I tried to add a clear. Your form fields are floating, with a designated width, I'd guess. The labels are floating next to the other box. If you set that form wrapper to clear all or float none, that should do it. Adding !important sometimes helps when it comes to overriding drupal.css settings. Does this help, or am I way off the mark? css issue

Greetings, Evidently I am doing something consistently wrong and don't know enough to figure it out. It has to do with Drupal.css and something I am doing. Without Drupal.css it doesn't do this (but other stuff doesn't look pretty) so I'd rather figure out what it is I am doing wrong. This screen shot shows what the problem is.... http://www.blkmtn.org/node/304 and this is the current state of my port. http://www.blkmtn.org/node/304 Obviously I am missing something basic. I prefer it to the module (as I think this will just end up having the same problems as trying to theme a live site - that is, we cannot guarantee all dynamic content is appearing at any one time). I like the POT analogy. Can we create a script that will distill out the XHMTL from modules? Perhaps running bits and pieces of drupal to capture the output. I think it is an absolutely marvelous idea, however, I am not sure I have the experience and knowledge to code it. I think however, a diagnostic module that: 1. Has one of each node type defined in core 2. Has a few comment 3. Has a forum (and its replies) 4. Shows taxonomy terms 5. Shows all blocks in Core 6. Has some aggregated feeds 7. Is extendible (so that you can add blocks/nodes/whatever emitted from other modules) should suffice for this purpose. A Lesson to learned from Mollie template

One thing I think we can learn from the mollie templates is the value of having a single static HTML page with all the basic html elements in place. With all the different components of a site in a single page, makes it not only easier for new designers know what all the different elements that should be themed, but it also allows the customers/users see the whole theme on a single page. One of the hardest thing, I found when I first started working on drupal was figuring out all the different components that were available not only in core but also the contrib. Something like the pot file generator that would pull all the themeable components into a single static html would be invaluable timesaver and make life alot more easier for many themers. In addition, it would make the presentation of templates more clearer b/c people can see the themed site instead of a screenshot. Lastly, it make the themes more consistent b/c every core elements of core would be themed and we would won't end up with themes which choose to theme some modules and not others. I'd like to hear other people's opinion about whether creating a statis page for theming agains is a good idea. -- John Hwang
