Background image in front page but not in others/how?

Drupal 7 Theme: Genesis(modified) Hello all, First off thankyou for your assistance in my page--front.tpl.php issues. Using the theme css sheet I applied a background image through: "#container" div. This applied the image to all my page backgrounds. I then discovered my "#container" div resided in my html.tpl.php file. What would be the best way to apply a background image only to my container on the page--front.tpl.php page? I'm sorry if I'm bothering the readers of this group too much, but I am appreciative of the help. PChuprina

try to add a css file in your subtheme I had the same problem with garland theme and this trick fixed the problem

Vers. 7.0 Theme: Genesis Hello all, I've created my page-front.tpl.php page to allow me to style differently from the the site. Unfortunately it is not showing up. I've gone to: Home » Administration » Configuration » System and attempted to use the Default front page with no success. I'm using a local test platform, so have entered: http://sitename:8082/ but don't know what to add after that. I've researched it on this site, but seem to only get answers for drupal 5.0...... What am I missing or what have I done wrong. Any help and/or guidance would be greatly appreciated. PChuprina

Themeing based on url alias path

I am trying to do the following but having issues. I would like to insert a specific div tag in my page.tpl.php when the url alias contains yepp for example when www.domain.com/yepp or www.domain.com/yepp/page1 If I try using arg(0) it just returns the internal system path "node". Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you -- Chris McCreery

Hi. I am Miles Rout, and I'm currently converting a static HTML theme to a drupal theme. I've been wondering about the use of: <?php print theme('links', $primary_links, array('class' => 'links primary-links')) ?> and <?php print theme('links', $secondary_links, array('class' => 'links secondary-links')) ?> When I use these, should I need to change my CSS? Do they output the list in a funny way? Why is this using a theme(); function when they could just be <?php print $primary_links ?> or something like that? Or alternatively, why isn't the page_title something like <?php print theme('title', $page_title, array('class' => 'title page-title')) ?> ? Thanks, Miles
