Timed image and text display

Hi all. I really need to display a number of images of the same dimensions on the main page, each image should remain for n seconds then be replaced by another from the database. I also need to display some text over the image and change that every n seconds. Is there a module that permits display of images sequentially or selected at random from the database? Is there a module that permits timed text quotes on a page?, once again random or sequential. Failing this can someone point me to some php code that I could modify for the above. It's years since I used php so the whole thing is a significant learning curve. Many thanks Roger

How to know the path of a tpl.php file

Hi all, with Theme Developer I can find that the content of one of my page (created from a view with Node output style) is build from "node.tpl.php" file (but no vars information are displayed like usal, and this is strange). Now I have a problem with this file in: in my template directory there is one node.tpl.php file, but is different at 100% from the output that I can see online and I have a file called node-view-VIEWNAME.tpl.php that it is not considerated from template engine (Theme Developer give me this file like a possible template file, but is not used). How can I know which is or where is (path) this template file ? Thanks in advance. Comment-wrapper is not used in my theme

Hi all. I need to render foo node's comments with my graphic so I have created comment-foo.tpl.php. and it works. Now i need to enclose comments in a div with class bar: <div class="bar"> <h3>Commenti dagli utenti</h3> <?php print $content; ?> </div> I have created comment-wrapper.tpl.php file but it does not work. So I have created comment-wrapper-foo.tpl.php but it does not work again. Where is my error ? In Search of Theme Developer

Project Summary Washington & Jefferson College, a private, liberal arts college in Western PA, is seeking a reliable, experienced Drupal Developer/Designer who is able to work in U.S. time. The project entails developing two custom Drupal themes with multiple theme templates for 2nd and 3rd tier pages. The Web Manager will provide an Adobe PSD file to aide as a guide for the design work. These themes must work cohesively with a multi-site set up and must be flexible for multiple blocks. Desired Functionality The site is a multi-site set up. Both themes must include: * A 'home-page' template, a multiple column second-tier template, and a third-tier template that includes the content, navigation, and possibly a block. * Multiple menu structure - a top level, static menu (ideally with features similar to mootools/jquery animation); a second level menu with a multi-level submenu; and a dynamic navigation menu based on taxonomy; footer menu which replicates the top level menu. * Logo and Search * Multi-column content area where multiple blocks can be inserted * Multiple block background based on suffixes similar to those developed by Rocket Themes * Content block which pulls in related articles based on taxonomy tags * Content block for RSS feeds and other extraneous content * Wrapper - which will allow for the display of a third-party page within the desired theme. This is desired but not required. * The two themes will be used for the following departments: o Athletics o Student Life Developer Requirements Thorough knowledge of Drupal, XTML, PHP, and CSS are required. The experienced developer/designer must be comfortable in modifying content types and views as necessary to meet the goal and for the theme to function. The developer must be willing to research existing modules for requested functionality and work with the Web Manager and ITS department in order to complete the task. Time frame Deadline for completion is mid-late July 2010.
