But for some applications where it's important to the site that user experience is well tested, letting individual users set the theme is something of a nightmare; a problem with the theme is perceived as a problem with the site. So for /those/ sites (such as the one I'm currently working on), letting the user set the theme was APITA. Still, for a community site, I agree that the current behavior is fine. When enabled, users can set their own theme to override the site's default theme. The problem with your solution is that if a theme is deactivated, it is not available for anyone. I need multiple themes available, but need to make the rather confusing UI that appears in user/n/edit to go away. Your options will not do that.

I tried this module, and even after enabling it, I can't find a place to upload files. This could be an oversight, as I am used to look on the node submission form. What I wonder though - will it allow inline handling of files with inline.module, or does it have its own inline utility? Hi! I already got to the point where an XML-RPC request is as simple as $result = xmlrpc($url, $method, $arg1, $arg2, ....); and then $result is a simple PHP variable ie. array('key1' => 'value1') or a string etc etc. No new xmlrpc* to litter your code. We like simplicity, aren't we? I desperately need testers. The server is under construction ATM but testers will be needed for that in a day or two. Regards NK
