Dear Friends, I am new to this mailing list, I am a member of Indian Linux User group - chennai chapter. I am working in a company in a position to give open source solution to my clients. I have a good programming knowledge on joomla! cms. My task is now to customize a site with a login page followed by two content page.The first content page will look like http://www.penguinprogress.org/layout.PNG which will house a sitemap column where there will be various Headings like taxonomy1 taxonomy2 taxonomy3.... in the menu system. In a scenario when the user clicks taxonomy2 , the site map changes as in the picture http://www.penguinprogress.org/layout2.PNGwhere all the submenu of taxonomy2 (sub section 1, sub section 2, sub section 3) are displayed. For developing such work, can any body throw a pointer of how to do it, probably a url to the tutorial is appreciated. I have googled, but other than nick lewis tutorial i cant find any thing closer. How to control HTML user input preserving the "style" attributes?

Hello there, I am creating an about_me.module to provide users with a customizable "about me" page. That page is to be very simple: a title field and a textarea for users to write whatever they want. Ideally, users should be able to customize their pages either by writing directly in HTML or by using TinyMCE. The problem that I'm having is that the formatting added by TinyMCE (especially the "style" attributes) are being filtered out by filter.module. An alternative would be to not filter the HTML tags at all, but I'm afraid that would add potential risks to my website. Is there any solution for this problem? What would you recommend? Hi, This might worth a look. One interesting point is this stuff: "This calculator estimates how much it would cost to hire a team to write this project from scratch." Result? $5,364,474 with default values :) http://ohloh.net/projects/3189 Programming language usage and codebase history are also interesting. And they have some (false?) findings about licences used. Maybe they care to explain what files they identified with these licenses in more detail. Gabor

Drupal 4.7.4 profile.module broken

Hi there, due to some unfortunate circumstances the 4.7.4 profile module is broken. I have just applied a patch to cvs that fixes the problem. This won't help people downloading the 4.7.4 tarball though. To fix this, I intend to make a bugfix release 4.7.5 available as time permits. It would be nice to include as many bugfixes as possible in this upcoming release so I urge anybody not busy with fixing bugs for the Drupal 5 beta release to have a look at the 4.7 patch queue: http://drupal.org/project/issues?projects=3060&states=8,13,14&versions=1069… Cheers, Gerhard

Three patches to review

Kieran tells me that I should give you guys a measure how far we are from beta and also show the three most important patches. I will. Given the speed of testers, lots of emails like this will follow. First of all, we are very close to beta. We only have four critical patches that require community attention (and jQuery 1.0.3 which does not). (Of course, the more bugs are fixed before beta, the better.) Three of the mentioned patches need a review: http://drupal.org/node/90128 this needs to be tested on pgsql, on mysql which is older than 5.0.13 and then on a mysql which is at least 5.0.13. http://drupal.org/node/90509 this needs to be tested on a 4.7 system which is upgraded. Set minimal words for lots of node types in your 4.7 install, are they preserved during the update? http://drupal.org/node/88287 put modules in sites/all and add them to profiles/default/default.profile for testing. This is the three at the moment. I will post the next three when these three are addressed. There are http://drupal.org/project/issues?page=4&projects=3060&versions=6487&categor… less than a hundred to choose from, and I guess about 40-50 will need real reviews, others are too old and the bug or even the place where the bug appeared does not exist any more.

Does not look like it. Aside from one patch set to RTBC by kkaefer, zero patches have been moved in or out of the CVS RTBC queue the last day. In the last two days three patches were touched in the patches need review queue. The bug queue is also in a shory shape -- there are two reports touched in the last twenty hours. Hello!
