[views] Knowing the display type of a view

Hi all, I'm implementing a hook of hook_views_pre_render and I need to know if the current display being rendered is a page. Is there any api in views for this? I'm right now using substr($view->current_display, 0, 4) == 'page' but I wonder if there is any way more elegant. Searching for AHAH! instead of AHAH?

I have a form as a result of content profile. I want to add an #AHAH attribute to one of the fields, and #PREFIX/#SUFFIX to another to receive the ajax return, in hook_form_alter. When I do that ($form[myfield][#prefix]=) both fields disappear. My head is swimming looking at all the posts on this and the various hacks to solve it. I've read discussions of using pre-render, after-build, drupal_add_js to manually inject the ahah...is there a clean way to do this? Help with form in drupal, 7

I am updating a draggable form from drupal 6 to 7. If i change the value of weight on the select box, it changes and saves it, but if i drag and drop, it do not change the value. Theme for my module

I have module which displays a form with 3 fields. To reaarange the form horizontally should I use #theme or #prefix and #suffix or should I edit in style.css I gave the name PRODUCTCODE but it get displays as "PRODUCTCODE *:"* *':' from which file is this getting added?* -- *Pavithra M* *9535011565*

My Form Creation Module

I have created this module.... This module is designed to display form and update the database table with form fieds. When I install this module into sites/all/modules/ folder, and open the sitebuilding/modules page and enable the module and click on SAVE CONFIGURATION, I get : Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, admin(a)example.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log. using db_insert with big ints

When I use db_insert in D7 (RC3), drupal_write_record (the engine behind db_insert) allows ints, serials, and floats for numbers. If it sees int in the schema definition, it casts the number in PHP as an int before writing the record. Thus my facebook id of 100000412533411 becomes much much smaller. I have D6 code that I'm bringing to D7, btw. In common.inc: // Type cast to proper datatype, except when the value is NULL and the // column allows this. // // MySQL PDO silently casts e.g. FALSE and '' to 0 when inserting the value // into an integer column, but PostgreSQL PDO does not. Follow up: Modules Admin issue

After inserting a half dozen timers into modules_rebuild_cache, I have found two functions that take 95% of the time: * drupal_system_listing takes almost 1/3 of the time - some of which is likely anti-vius, * drupal_alter('system_info'... took almost 2/3 of the time - and the only module using that is CVS_Deploy. Turning off CVS_Deploy makes the page display on my PC almost within my memory span. But the production server also uses that module and runs in a second.
