Simpletest Conundrum

In Drupal 7, I have a requirement to simpletest a functional group of methods... one test comprised of about 1800 subtest permutations. The issue I have is that these are back-end functions with no UI interaction, yet simpletest unit test, from what I read, does not provide the functionality for accessing the db, creating test tables and data, etc. Do I fudge it by having a menu callback, or by having an admin page with a button if necessary, so that I can webtest, or do I manually include db.inc, etc. so that I can access the db, (though I think it would need to be much dirtier than that)? Config problem with Mobile friendly navigation menu

Hello All, I have installed mobile friendly navigation menu. But I have done some miss configuration and its become small icon instead of menu option. I have attached the screen shot of the same. Any one have idea to resolve this or faced similar issue? Thanks, Nikhil

drupal_render is not executed

Hello, I have a similar issue asked here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2409406/call-to-drupal-render-returns-nu… but on my case, I think the function is not called since if I put a file_put_contents before the access check, then nothing is written to that temp-file. Before call the drupal_render function I check the element passed is well-formed, and apparently it is. #foo_site_theme.inc function theme_citroen_site_entity($variables) { file_put_contents("/tmp/community.log", "\nSTART\n"); file_put_contents("/tmp/community.log", print_r($variables['element'], true), FILE_APPEND); return drupal_render($variables['element']); } #common.inc function drupal_render(&$elements) { file_put_contents("/tmp/community.log", "\nhola caracola\n", FILE_APPEND); // Early-return nothing if user does not have access. if (empty($elements) || (isset($elements['#access']) && !$elements['#access'])) { return ''; } ... ... ... } So, even if my problem could be about the access permission, I wonder I might see the string "hola caracola" at this temp-log-file. The only conclusion I can get is the function drupal_render is never called, what surprises me and I can't understand why. Also I tried to put a syntax error inside drupal_render function, and drupal works without errors. If I put the same typo inside theme_citroen_site_entity function, then I can see this typo-error Anybody could point me to the right direction? Thanks in advance.

math latex no print

When we use the print friendly pages and the PDF generation tools the Mathjax code isn’t processed by the client and the results are anywhere there would normally have been an equation is just a mess of Latex. We need students to be able to print the pages with the mathjax code. One option is to use another Latex editor that processes the code server side but this is very limiting as it just converts the code to images on the server side and links them. Because they just process the images the code is never saved so any time we want to make a change we have to completely rewrite that segment of code. Also because they are stored as images they are clumsy to work with compared to mathjax. We need a Latex editor that will allow for client side processing of the Latex code and a PDF converter that will interpret that code when generating the PDF’s. Considering how many departments at Berkeley will require this I would hope that it isn’t terribly difficult to implement. Right now it seems like there’s only one viable option I’m going to be testing out but if you have any ideas I’m all ears. I know many wiki’s have the ability to both edit the math notation and offer a printer friendly page that also processes the math notation. It doesn’t make sense for us to transition to Drupal unless it supported the same functionality. Any Drupal modules for online voter guides?

We are working of this idea - http://bit.ly/openvoter - at http://hackformn.org this weekend. We will be working on this for the next 24 hours. As we have Drupal developers/users on our team and I know lots of media sites use Drupal and likely create voter guides, I am looking for any tips about available code to leverage. Any suggestions?
