It would be quite useful to us newbies to know in some systematic way, like on the Modules download page or details page for each module, which ones are actively maintained and which abandoned. Where can one find the dated list of patches affecting each module? [drupal-devel] AJAX selects, with images--and documentation

I'm working on a module that need AJAX-populated selects with images. An example might be: user selects from a list of his/her posts. A second select is then populated with a list of users who have commented on that post, including their images. Anyone working on this sort of functionality? Existing examples? More generally, in core we've got a great start and some good examples to work from. It would be great to pull this together so we've got tutorials on how to leverage and expand on the AJAX approaches. Is there documentation on implementing AJAX in Drupal modules? Hello world, we discussed the Drupal 4.7 release schedule at DrupalCON. The key message is that we're going to freeze and roll out a first release candidate in 2 weeks! If you maintain one or modules, this would be the time to start upgrading your modules. A release requirement is that enough contributed modules are updated to work with Drupal 4.7, hence my previous e-mail. Hopefully it is OK to cross-post between these two groups. :\ This is about documentation, but it's written for developers and I really need their input. I have created a forms API progammer's reference which is available in my sandbox: http://cvs.drupal.org/viewcvs/*checkout*/drupal/contributions/sandbox/webch… This contains 3 things: 1. A table of all elements and properties, which shows which can be used in each. 2. An elements reference containing all of the possible 'types' that form elements can be set to, along with their allowed attributes. 3. A properties reference containing a list of all the properties that I could find from grepping the source, along with their descriptions and to which form elements they belong. Each element/property is accompanied by a usage example to illustrate how it is used (randomly selected from various core modules), and I've also cross-referenced between elements and properties so you can quickly jump around to the information you need. "Required" elements properties are in bold on each form element (some not strictly required, but there would have to be a good reason to avoid them). If you guys could have a look and throw me your 2 cents on this document overall that would be awesome. Stuff in green is stuff that "should" be done and complete. Things marked in yellow are things I wasn't sure about. If you can shed light here, tell me where I've missed things, or say, "Yep, that's right" then I would really appreciate it. Once it is in a more completed state, I will move it to contributions/docs/developer/topics so it will be listed in drupaldocs.org. -Angie

Hi all, I am trying to creat a useable profile search for an alumni site. The sql searches on up to 9 different profile values, which are selected in a form. I have used a paged query and the first page returns fine. However on page 2 the whole user list (2500 users) is returned because no variables are passed to the query. Is there any way I can pass the variables (as hidden form values?) to the pager query so that the pages return correctly.
