mass removal of content types

Hi! I need to know if there is an special module or a simple way to remove all contents of a particular type of content. I mean I need to delete hundreds of products in my ubercart, so I need to delete all nodes that corresponds to node type product, and i need to do this work in a simple way. ajax context and related template

Hi, i am wondering if there is a way to know the current context of the request and render a template related to it In frameworks (like zend or symfony), you can have views related to current context ex : node.tpl node.ajax.tpl * In ajax context i want to render the node in an overlay with a close button and no layout * If i access this same node in normal http request, i will have the page layout with all menus ( and no element related to ajax load ) What must i do to achieve this ? is it possible ? Thanks for for sharing a little of your drupal experience I currently use drupal 7 beta ps: I know drupal is not a framework :-)

Naming a module's view template

Checking to make sure I'm not having a 'moment' and forgetting something. This regards Views in D7, but I don't think this has changed since D6. I have my_module, and it is to have a file that in a non-module environment would be views-view-table--my-view--page-1.tpl.php In my_module/theme I created my_module-view-table--my-view--page-1.tpl.php In my_module.info I have files[] = theme/my_module-view-table--my-view--page-1.tpl.php The view displays with is table, but no amount of cache clearing seems to get this template file recognized. _drupal_wrap_mail_line()

Before drupal sends an email, the content of that email is wrapped to lines of no more than 77 chars. I can't think of a single good reason to do this. I wouldn't use an email client that did this, and I don't want my drupal to do it either. It causes problems: http://drupal.org/node/348327 http://drupal.org/node/321026 So what am I missing? Can anyone tell me why this "feature" is in there? Thanks, -Dave

Taxonomy Menu

Hello Folks, I'm the current maintainer for taxonomy menu ( http://drupal.org/project/taxonomy_menu) The time I have available to work on this module and quickly declined. I have a 16 month old baby and have been spending more time with my family. Luckily, I have had some excellant help from other members of the community to help with the issues queue support, otherwise, there was no way I would have been able to provide support for the huge user base. I'm looking for a new maintainer (http://drupal.org/node/921974) This module is great for someone looking to increase their exposer (and their certified to rock score). Taxonomy Menu was my first exposure to Drupal and it helped me land my current job at Treehouse Agency. I am happy to help and mentor anyone looking to take on this module. Cheers, Neil

problems using sites.php

I have a working drupal6 site online and now I want to work with it offline. I was trying to achieve this using sites.php, but it don't work. I am sure sites.php is read because if I add die("message"); in it I read the message, but it don't work. Drupal 7 API Change notification: Four small-ish changes

*We try to notify this list when API changes are made in Drupal 7, so contrib and custom developers have a chance to fix their code before they have the pain of figuring out why it's broken. *(issue <http://drupal.org/node/140783>) Select elements in forms now require a default value by default. In the past, #required on a select element was kind of silly. Now it's on by default. So if you have a select element which is not supposed to allow submission without having a selection chosen, you have to set #required = FALSE. *Look carefully at this one if you have a select element in a form that you do not want to be #required.* (issue <http://drupal.org/node/844186#comment-3486946>) Database "merge queries" have changed syntax. If you used MergeQuery::updateExcept() in a merge query, you'll want to see the issue. *Look carefully at this one if you have a MergeQuery and use updateExcept(),* (issue <http://drupal.org/node/907690>) Meaning of MENU_CALLBACK has changed. It is only to be used for paths that are api callbacks only. I can't figure out how the values of the two checkboxes get validated and persisted back to "scheduler_story" and "scheduler_touch_story". Specifying .tpl.php file locations

Hi! This may be the wrong forum to ask this question; if so, please let me know where I should be directing this question. I am developing a theme, and would like to use the system provided 'block.tpl.php' file for most blocks. However, for menu blocks I would like to use a different .tpl.php file. I can modify the 'template_files' array in theme_preprocess_block() to include the file, and the devel_themer module then shows the file name added to the list of possible suggestions, but unless I have a file called 'block.tpl.php' in my theme directory, it ignores the file I want it to use. This is sub-optimal because if there are any security changes made to 'block.tpl.php' in future Drupal 6 versions, the changes will not propagate. Is there any way to do one of the following? 1. in 'theme_preprocess_block' specify the path to a .tpl.php file to be used, so that I don't need to have a file named 'block.tpl.php' in my theme directory or 2. in the 'block.tpl.php' file, somehow tell Drupal to use the one provided by the system instead? Also, is there some place I should be looking for documentation on how to do this? I've been through much of the Theming manual on drupal.org looking for this information already...
