Cron run exceeded the time limit and was aborted.

I have a function that runs a few updates and displays a list of what it did. In order to get caught up from a long period of neglect, I decided to add it into the hook_cron. Every time I invoke cron, I get "Cron run exceeded the time limit and was aborted" yet it completes in far less than 30 seconds. Any ideas how my code could be inadvertantly triggering this? some weeks ago I offered a patch to module z3950. In this patch a new content type (based on CCK) is introduced and some nodes are initially filled using function of module "alternate_content_copy". I would be interested to get some responce if this approach looks acceptable to advanced Drupal developers. Importing CCK content types during module installation

Good morning, I am looking for a method of importing CCK content types during module installation. From what I have read this seems difficult, or perhaps impossible? Any nudge in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. apachesolr search not indexing on new machine

I just updated apachesolr 6.x-1.0-rc3 to 6.x-1.1, then moved the code and the database to a new development server. Now when I run cron nodes are marked for deletion, but no nodes are being added to the index which has zero nodes indexed now. With 100,000 nodes, the 500 nodes at a time are going to take a while. I'm guessing the database status is out of synch with the search engine, but delete index and re-index just seems to restart the delete multiple by id. Any ideas on what might be wrong or how to re-synch things? Thanks. -Don-

Restricting node reference by uid

Good evening, I am wondering if it is possible to restrict the nodes displayed in the CCK node reference field to only nodes created by the current user? Currently I believe all nodes that the current user can access are being returned. [support] Administer a subset of users

Hi, I am developing a smart school site where one of the user roles is "collage". Users belongs to this role need to be allowed to administer a subset of users "students" in the site. The subset of users can be the users in OG group. The group admin need to be allowed to create, edit, block and delete users in the group context. I managed to achieve this by granting "administer users" permission to role "college" and with a custom module i altered the access callback for item 'user/%user/delete' and 'user/%user_category/edit' (to prevent admin from one group, editing or deleting the students account on other group). I guess this will have a potential security problem in future, would like to know if there is any module/ workaround/ hack to achieve this requirement in drupal way. If your code uses it, you now have a fatal error. Form fields in a table

Using FAPI for a form (D6), and in the form is a markup field, which is a table created with theme(). Some of the cells in the table need to be populated with form fields. The contents of the table is being sent to theme() as $rows, and I've tried having the cells in question defined as $form[myfield] that has been created earlier, but I end up with an empty cell, and the form field appearing where it was first defined, prior to the table... so... $form[myfield] = array(... $rows[this_row] = array(cellval, cell2val, $form[myfield] ... isn't working. I need something like Row 1 text text selectbox text textfield text
