Theme renders as tokens in 4.6

I'm trying to code a module that sets the theme for a class of users by (1) using HTTP BASIC AUTH, and (2) changing the theme according to what BASIC AUTH user they log in as; this is used in a two tier login system. This is a 4.6 site, and I'm trying to do what og.module did in 4.6 time: set the global $custom_theme to the name of the theme I want. I'm doing this in my menu handler in the uncached section of the handler. The first time someone calls a theming function, init_theme() gets called, and init_theme is seeing the right value for $custom_theme. But if I select anything but the current default theme, the page renders in a very weird fashion: {head} {styles} {_BLOCK_.header.logo} {_BLOCK_.header.site_name} {secondary_links} {primary_links} {_BLOCK_.header.blocks} {_BLOCK_.header.title} {submitted} {content} {_BLOCK_.footer.message} Obviously, something isn't set up right. I've seen this happen before, but not with my own code. Does anyone know what's going on here? Thanks, Rob

So, when a patch is reviewed for functionality but is not clear whether we want it in Drupal or not, it sometimes stalls. The new state would serve two purposes: the Drupal "elders", whose opinion matters a lot, would know that here a full patch review is not needed hence they can spend a lot less time with the patch but still move it forward. Also, on the other end of the scale, someone with little patch review experience but a good insight on the topic in question (like , do we want a Content-Length: 0 header? this is not a question which requires Drupal knowledge) could provide that insight, once again pushing the patch forward. Bypass HTML Filter / Reference Raw $_POST Vars?

Hello all, I've searched for the last 2 hours online and I'm a little stuck. I know a lot of filtering talk has taken place on this list, but I haven't seen any answers regarding this... Is there a way to bypass the filtering of content from a code level? I've written a module and would like to bypass HTML filtering on a 2 specific fields, and those 2 only, but I'm unable to find a way to do this. I don't think using the Input Filterting in Drupal Admin to create roles and such is the way to go. I thought perhaps referencing the $_POST vars directly would work, but it seems Drupal processes them before my module can get to them. Anyone know of a way to get the raw posted content or bypass the filters? Thanks for your help! -Mike

Importing data: programmatically submitting forms

Hello, It has been question a lot about programmatically submitting forms. I am still unsure about how FAPI2 makes this possible. Is there already a module using this possibility? I couldn't find any documentation. I am using a module to import data, and I need to push this data into a simple story node (what if it were a custom node type?). I also need to add a few taxonomy terms associated to that node. I also want to create some forums /containers automatically. Yes, but then closed is shared by those that were fixed and then closed and the ones that were never looked into and then closed. So it is not possible (at least not easily) which is which.
