Hi, i would like to propose a patch to 6-x which will add an option to store IP address of comment author to the comment. I am looking for this feature quite some time now and i think that due to spam, IP address is very valuable resource when fighting it. The only option how to accomplish this now is finding that IP in watchdog log, but it is deleted every X days... Is it worth developing? (Is there a chance to be accepted?) SQLite port

Hello, congratulations for releasing 5.0. It is really a revolutionary release. :) I'll get to the point. CHX told me it's time to remind you that there's a SQLite database interface sitting in the issue queue (http://drupal.org/node/67349) The patch hasn't been updated yet due to lack of time (I am in the middle of end term exams), but it will be in a matter of weeks. I will also send a reminder on this list at that time. I also wanted to point out that if this gets into core, I am willing to be the maintainer of the port. Regards Tadej

Announcing module releases

Derek and all. Would there be an easy way to track module releases? Perhaps an RSS feed on drupal.org only for release nodes only? That should do the trick. db_tuning update

Hi, I've updated the db_tuning.module from Punkcut25 's sandbox to work with 5.0RC2. However: - he has disabled his d.o. contact form - he seems to have appeared last on IRC 17 weeks ago - there is no email to contact him in his code - his blog on civicspace does not give a contact address So I don't know what to do: - it seems unfair/unappropriate to create a d.o. project module for this, since this is basically his code, - it seems pointless to mention this in a forum post, as it will stay ignored - it seems wasteful to let the 5.0 go ignored: this code provides interesting initial insight on mysql tuning Any suggestions ? SQL Authentication Project Seeking new Maintainer

Hi, I no longer have the proper amount of time to maintain this, IMO important project, SQL authentication[1]. SQL authentication is a module that uses the external authentication methods in Drupal to connect to any other database. The module is Simple(tm), without many UI settings and configurations, and that is IMO its greatest power. Its simplicity also allows you to get up to speed with this project, even if you never saw its code. Are you looking for a nice module that needs some love? external authentication - not found error

Hi, i am developing small authentication module on 4.7 + patch allowing authenticating without @domain My module is very simple (code here is little bit condensed): function auth602_help($section = '') { ... } function auth602_info($field = 0) { $info['name'] = '602Office'; $info['protocol'] = 'XML-RPC'; if ($field) { return $info[$field]; } else { return $info; } } function auth602_auth($username, $password, $server) { // authenticate if ($authenticated) { return 1; } else { return 0; } // end of module Everything works, my "Default authentication server" is "xyz.cz", so when user write "someuser", hook_auth() processes someuser(a)xyz.cz But, after authenticating, user is logged in and Drupal throws error: "Error -404 : not found" I am trying to debug where this message come from (for 3 hours now :(. Is there any way to look up module or function which throwed this error or do anybody know why this error appears? Nothing else is wrong. Just this message. User still authenticated.
