Drupal 7 code slush update

Hello all, here is quick update on the code slush. DONE 1. ImageField 2. Translatable fields* 3. Taxonomy => Field API 4. Dashboard 5. Plugin Manager INCOMPLETE, but several made a ton of progress 6. Overlays 7. Shorcut bar 8. Edit anywhere 9. RDF 10. Profile I still have to regroup with webchick after yesterday's patch frenzy, to discuss and propose next steps. In the mean time, we can continue to work on items 6-10. Expect to hear from me or webchick later in the day. Yes, that means you have a little bit more time! Thanks for the amazing work so far! menu item callback

I hook menu with an item $items['admin/....'] and give it a page callback of drupal_get_form and the page arguments being the function in my module that defines the form. It's defined as a normal menu item. I click the menu item and up comes the form. So far everything as expected. What -isn't- expected is that in looking at the page source, the action for both this form, and the search form, are now both the path for this form.

Conference/Event "Recipe"

Setting up sites for conferences/events happens often enough that there is a need for a "recipe" or template (not in the theme sense) for such sites. I would assume such a recipe would be driven by an install profile that would select "standard" modules. Does anyone know of such a thing? how to access Drupal.gmap methods

Hi there, I'm using the drupal gmap module to display some maps and markers. Now I want to extend the functionality with some ajax stuff and I'm having difficulties understanding the javascript Drupal.gmap object. I figured out how to access the google maps object: var m = Drupal.gmap.getMap('yourmapid'); googleobject = m.map Now when looking at the code, I see there are some interesting marker functions defined already in marker.js (and gmap_markers.js). My question is how to access these functions as I always get a not defined error. m.addmarker(...); or m.clearmarkers(); throw above error. Tnx, HnLn

Views2 - change filter label programmatically

Hi, Spent ages trying to figure out how to do something supposedly as simple as changing the label of an existing exposed form name from my module. For filter called 'names', in MYMODULE_views_pre_render() I set the label this way: $view->display['page_1']->display_options['filters']['names']['expose']['label'] = 'NEWNAME'; When I check it with drupal_set_message(print_r($view)); it is properly set. But it does not appear on the page. Caches emptied etc. What am I missing? I'd really like to learn how to do this using Views2 API rather than via a theme function. I'll be so thankful for any clues.. vacilando

Converting db_rewrite_sql for D7

For the most part I am finding converting my queries fairly straightforward. But I just ran into one that I'm having a bit of trouble with: ORDER BY ' . ($filters['block_type'] == 0 ? 'RAND()' : 'n.created DESC') Obviously the one case will end up as "->orderBy('n.created', 'DESC')", but there's no column for RAND. Do I just make one up (maybe nid)? Nancy E. Primay menus disappeared in the sky theme after degrading from 6.14 to 6.13

Hi, Recently we upgraded from drupal 6.13 to 6.14, we noticed that the page route module wasn't working which was used to fill up the profile for users. So again we downgraded to 6.13 to make the page route module work, however primary menus from the top disappeared. If we publish those menus in other regions they are vsisble. We are using sky theme, so primary menus which appears on the top disappeared. I tried changing the theme to garland and other themes still they sre not appearing on the top region. I tried creating a new menu item in the primary menu still it didnt appear. I trieed searching the variable table and menu tables but not able to understand what went wrong. Form with multiple submit buttons

Hello, I am having two form submit buttons on a single page, somethings like this: $form['submit1'] = array( '#type' => 'submit', '#value' => t('save'), '#submit' => array('test_submit1'), ); [some more for elements in between] $form['submit2'] = array( '#type' => 'submit', '#value' => t('Save'), '#submit' => array('test_submit2'), ); Now, whether I click on any of them, the submit callback of second button is called always. But if I change the value of second button or give them different '#name', everything gets back in place. They call their submit functions respectively. I did not expect such a behavior given this: http://drupal.org/node/144132#buttons Although, they both have same #value but will have different ids in the form, so Drupal has every reason to differentiate between them (or not??).
