Regarding these duplicate entry records issue: I believe this is a race condition and is very similar to this core issue: http://drupal.org/node/230029 The issue for me is very easy to duplicate when uploading 3 or more files at one time - when the node_save is executed. Given that I'm surprised this issue with CCK has not surfaced before and there may very well be an issue on this already but I was not able to find it. Duplicate entry '16-0-all' for key 1 query: INSERT INTO node_access (nid, realm, gid, grant_view, grant_update, grant_delete) VALUES (16, 'all';, 0, 1, 0, 0) Duplicate entry '16-1' for key 1 query: INSERT INTO content_field_filedepot_file (vid, nid, delta, field_filedepot_file_fid, field_filedepot_file_list, field_filedepot_file_data) VALUES (16, 16, 1, 234, NULL, NULL) Following the ideas posted in issue 230029, I added the call to db_lock_table() around the node_save() db_lock_table($content_type['tables']['content_field_filedepot_file']); node_save($node); db_unlock_tables(); Now that solved my duplicate_insert issue and confirms (I believe) this is a race condition issue. BUT ... now I get about 10 warnings from other tables when the db_unlock_tables is called since they are not locked as in: user warning: Table 'node' was not locked with LOCK TABLES query: UPDATE node SET vid = 8, type = 'filedepot_folder', language = '', title = 'X1.2', uid = 1, status = 1, created = 1303222742, changed = 1303222771, comment = 0, promote = 0, moderate = 0, sticky = 0, tnid = 0, translate = 0 WHERE nid = 8 in F:\web4\nexdrupal\includes\common.inc on line 3538. There is not optional parameter to pass to db_unlock_tables - it's an all or nothing. This would appear to be a core or CCK issue - is anyone aware or can confirm my findings. Is there a known issue or work around? My backup option is to add my own queue logic to handle these inserts.

Custom template for taxonomy term page in Drupal 7

Hi All, I want to customize taxonomy term page for particular vocabulary. (for all vocabulary is also fine) I am able to customize look and feel of node teasers by using http://drupal.org/node/1106090 It provides a way to style the node differently while listing vs displaying full node. Now i want to have separate template for taxonomy term page. I don't see any default "Drupal 7 Template Suggestions" at http://drupal.org/node/1089656 Anyone know how to achieve this? Newbie Drupal 7 - Creating Attendence by user access

Hi, I have list of people who attended meetings who have a drupal account. I wish to - Upload a speadsheet with the attendence - Display to the users which have an account which meetings they attended - These events are not in drupal calendar I have reasonable knowledge of php/html and databases but no knowledge of drupal. CCK and Node Access Duplicate Insert errors

I am working on an enhancement to the filedepot module for a multifile uploader - drag & drop files to a hotspot on the browser. It was all working nicely but now consistently getting duplicate entry errors in both the node_access and the CCK table The filedepot_folder is a node and the files are attachments - using the filefield CCK widget. Duplicate entry '16-0-all' for key 1 query: INSERT INTO node_access (nid, realm, gid, grant_view, grant_update, grant_delete) VALUES (16, 'all';, 0, 1, 0, 0) Duplicate entry '16-1' for key 1 query: INSERT INTO content_field_filedepot_file (vid, nid, delta, field_filedepot_file_fid, field_filedepot_file_list, field_filedepot_file_data) VALUES (16, 16, 1, 234, NULL, NULL) I've stripped the module code down to only the following and modules HOOK_nodeapi is just doing a return so no other code in filedepot should be involved. $node = node_load($file->nid, NULL, TRUE); $field = content_fields('field_filedepot_file', 'filedepot_folder'); $validators = filefield_widget_upload_validators($field); $nodefile = field_file_save_file($file->tmp_name, $validators, $this->tmp_storage_path); // Need to populate the CCK fields for the filefield field - so node_save will update the CCK field $node->field_filedepot_file[] = $nodefile; node_save($node); // Clear CCK data cache so the new value will be loaded for display purposes cache_clear_all('content:' . $node->nid . ':' . $node->vid, 'cache_content'); I was suspecting a race condition as the files I'm uploading are small test files and thought the node_save was not completed before another update was attempted but attempts to remove this potential race condition still cause the same issue. Often the first 2 or 3 files get attached just fine to the folder node and then the next file triggers the SQL error then a few more may save ok and then SQL error but the pattern is not consistent. I initially thought it was a CCK cache issue but adding the cache_clear has not removed the issue. Any ideas or suggestions as to the source of this issue and how to solve it. Thanks! Blaine

As I'm a bit rusty with Drupal and because I'm not familiar with the new features, I'm looking for an experienced developer whom I can bounce questions off of and get suggestions on implementation. Skill ------------------------------------------------------ 1...............................PHP 1...............................SQL 1...............................Java 1................................VoIP 2................................Shell Scripting 2................................PHP 2................................Java 3............................... C++ 3................................C 3.................................Pearl I wan to do a SQL query for employess who MUST have skill PHP and Java. As per above table, the query result should show Employee 1 and 2. Now what should be the corresponding SQL query for it. Regards Austin

I noticed in another thread that somebody suggested git diff --no-prefix for creating patches. Please don't do that any more. We've moved to standard git patches (git diff without the --no-prefix, meaning a patch -p1 patch). Testbot support for -p0 patches (--no-prefix) will be removed around the end of May. See http://groups.drupal.org/node/140204 Some of you may have the --no-prefix stuff in your .gitconfig. Please remove it from there as well. In the issue queues, please start to insist on rerolls for -p0 formatted patches (if they have no a/ and b/ in front of the filenames.
