I want to have a selectable field for the views module called "close" that executes a function like this: function job_close() { $job = arg(2); $sid = 15; // Should be configurable. workflow_execute_transition($job, $sid); drupal_goto('job/open'); } I've got it to work using the code below, but its not right. I shouldn't have to use a valid field in the 'fields' section. This also means that you can't have multiple versions, ie one to "approve", one to "close". Anybody got any suggestions on a better way? Drupal.org forum changes

Hello world, I split 'Services and hosting' into 'Hosting companies' and 'Job offers and reverse bounties'. It is now two fora instead of one forum. I also re-categorized more than 180 existing forum topics (which turned out to be quite a job). Permissions bug in 4.7

I have two modules which implement the page types 'public page' and 'customer page'. Access to customer pages is restricted to authenticated users. That is until I enter text into the 'Menu Settings/Title' box, at this point everyone can read the page. Details: I have a menu called 'Customer Login Area' which is only visible on customer pages. I create a customer page, add menu title text and choose 'Customer Login Area' as its parent. At this point the public can read that page. Without the menu entry only authenticated users can read the page. Dead File in CVS (eclipse help)

Can someone help figure out how to resurect a file in CVS with Eclipse? I followed the directions for "Restoring deleted files from the repository" but no matter how many revisions I make to this file, the initial "file removed" seems to keep it dead. http://cvs.drupal.org/viewcvs/drupal/contributions/themes/meta/css/ hacks-ie7-win.css?hideattic=0&rev=1.1&view=log I read the CVS manuals and I think it was saying I need an admin for this? - Ken

node_import module

Hi, I had a quick task, I had to import some data from CSVs to flexinode. The node_import is seem to me, but it seems to me it's unmaintained. Is it a conscious step or the author (drumm) hasn't had enough time for it? Are there any better / smarter way? Bests, -- Aries

E-Commerce formapi question.

Hi, As of late I and a few others have been doing a lot of work on the upgrade to E-Commerce to Drupal 4.7. One part does have me stumped in that I am not sure how I am going to do the checkout process. So far I have fudged it in that I am not using the _validate() and _submit() formapi hooks. Basically what happens in this process is that the user is sent to cart/checkout where the first form is created. This is then posted back and then if all goes well the second form is rendered, and so forth. Now because of the way that the formapi works in that it renders the form and then the _validate() and _submit are called. This means that by the time I know that everything is OK it is too late to create the next form. One idea I did have is that I could to a drupal_goto() to start again, but this is quite and expensive operation when I am already there. Of the formapi gurus are there any ideas on how I can get around this. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance. Gordon.

That is not a question. So I hoped. However, I would like to plead, again, that we *really* (as in: really) not let any more features in. Not even if they fix a bug. The latest changes to the base url are causing (that I know of) already three bugs. We must keep in mind that any feature, how innocent it may seem, is a potential for new bugs. And with Murphy looking over our shoulder, we *will* introduce some bugs, in some places. So please, please, please: let us focus on the release. I am getting fed up having to report and fix bugs that are introduced by new features. gordon: are you working through node module for the multipart form in cart.module? if so that makes things trickier, but still workable. if you're not working through node module, then it might not be too hard. in my conversion work on project module, i did some work on a multi-part form, and what i found was that by setting a hidden field with the stage of the form, i was able to examine it in $_POST and keep track of what stage i was in. you might want to check out project module's issue submission form for that (pretty sure that was the form i did that on). hope this helps. chad
