Oracle buys SleepyCat

Oracle bought SleepyCat, the makers of the Berkeley DB that powers MySQL's BDB tables. http://developers.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=06/02/15/0018241 Previously, they bought InnoBase, makers of InnoDB. This can spell financial trouble for MySQL AB (the company), since they rely on Inno for non-GPL licensed versions. MyISAM is still there, but for commerical applications, this may be bad news. Upgrade system

Hi, Last night I converted E-Commerces old update system to the very cool new one. However I did run over 1 issue. When I am loading a fresh version of the schema, how do I tell the system which revisions have already been loaded. I know that the update system takes this from the system table, but I couldn't even find where Drupal does this. If anyone can enlighten me, I will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance. Gordon.

New maintainer: automember.module

Hi, I've taken over maintainership of automember.module from njivy (http://drupal.org/user/6194) as from today. I am busy sorting some final bugs out in the code for the 4.7 release and will then need someone to upload it for me, as I can't use CVS. Anyone willing to help with that, please? Can someone with appropriate rights also please flag ownership of the project over to me (user/74) Thanks! Kobus

MySQL bug or module bug ? Sorry, to post about the same issue, but I am really trying to understand this. ---1--- This query (as seen in event.module): SELECT n.nid, e.event_start FROM event e INNER JOIN node n ON n.nid = e.nid When passed thru the db_rewrite_sql() function, the function returns this query: SELECT DISTINCT(n.nid), e.event_start FROM event e INNER JOIN node_access na ON na.nid = n.nid INNER JOIN node n ON n.nid = e.nid ------- ---2--- This query (the proposed fix): SELECT n.nid, e.event_start FROM node n INNER JOIN event e ON n.nid = e.nid When passed thru the db_rewrite_sql() function, the function returns this query: SELECT DISTINCT(n.nid), e.event_start FROM node n INNER JOIN node_access na ON na.nid = n.nid INNER JOIN event e ON n.nid = e.nid ------- Query 1 and 2 prior to being passed to the db_rewrite_sql() function are essentially the same. After being passed to the db_rewrite_sql() function... Query 1 produces an error in MySQL 5.0 and Query 2 does not. So, is this a MySQL bug or module bug ?
