Is there no longer a last access functionality? using the global user and calling $user->access gives the value after the database has been updated. Not the value in the database at the time of login. Ex. the value in the database table is 0000002. You will not get this value but the value 0000003 which is the time of the latest access. We should create session(s) about CCK for DrupalCon. Ideas: 1. Creating a CCK module - step through the process of creating a CCK module, and emphasize best practices (like using the API instead of trying to access the database directly and being cognizant of the effects of the CCK cache) 2. CCK in core - a panel discussion / workshop with a panel of people who have given this some thought like Adrian, Dopry, JonBob (if he's coming) or whoever else has done any work or prep on this. Anyone interested in participating in any of these? Any other ideas? JQuery heads... I would love some assistance.

I've got an outstanding request for enable jquery on imagefield. I was wondering if there were any experience JQuery folk out there who could help me. I figure what I need is much like what is in upload.module. I would appreciate help identifying how to target the wrapper around the imagefield and how to get the button to trigger a request back to a js callback in imagefields. I also need to figure out the addition context I need to pass back, like field_name and how to cope with having multiple upload fields on one page which upload.module doesn't. I wish I could say ""if nominated I will not run, if elected I will not serve, but I my dutch reformed upbringing dictates that I do some penance for voicing my opinion. No more .zip files on project issues?

I noticed this a few weeks back but you are no longer allowed to upload .zip files to project issues. In the past I've found this to be pretty useful for rough code bits or non-standard things that don't really make sense in version control. An example would be if you have some rough module code, image, or other file type that you don't want to check into CVS. This question probably is more for the infrastructure list but I am out of the loop on that group. You have uploaded a Player.swf which I am quite certain is Jeroen Wijering's Flash player. http://www.jeroenwijering.com/?item=Flash_Media_Player This flash player is Creative Commons license, hence it cannot be stored in Drupal contrib. SWF Tools ships with a special version of this flash player that was kindly GPL'd by Jeroen. This version has a watermark and link to Jeroen's site, which is only fair - if people want to download the CC version of the player from his site, they can do this. I discussed this problem in IRC, and for this reason I'm cc'ing the developers mailing list so that a few people can follow the GPL issue to its resolution. But I really hope you like the idea of using SWF Tools API - you don't need to move your project or anything, just change some of the code. 5.x: menu module is semi-required?!

Hi, We are running Drupal.hu (on Drupal 5.1) with menu module turned off. We don't need those features. By looking at the code though, system.install has the menu table creation code, so menu module has no schema control of its own. Menu module is certainly not required, since sites run fine without it (we have custom primary navigation written in few lines of PHP code, which is a lot more performant then menu.module). My question is that leaving menu.module install code in system.install was just on oversight, or is menu module required after all for some more exotic reasons (not only navigation menu editing)? If the latter is the case, the next Drupal 5.x might need a fix to make menu.module required. But I doubt. Ps. I know the menu is being reworked for Drupal 6.x, so this is not applicable to HEAD.
