Move reset menu items to contrib?

I've dealt with the menu system a bit in the past couple days. I don't think I would ever want to use the reset menu items option on real site; it seems like more of a developer tool. patch for flexinode 4.6.x

There is a patch for flexinode 4.6.x ready to commit (http://drupal.org/node/21673) which I would have done it my self if I had permission (I have permission to commit on contributions repository but I guess only for head). I know that everybody, as well as myself, is quite concentrated on 4.7 but this is a quite old flexinode's bug. We should not forget 4.6 as it is the actual stable release. Can somebody with permission look at it and commit if it's ok? Thanks. Robert.

Hello all, I am Simon (mentioned in some of the posts in this thread about deleting users) and I'm newb to these mailing lists, although I've been active on drupal.org for some time. I totally understand your comments about the functionality of deleting users. However something needs to be done with HEAD because at the moment if I delete a user, any nodes authored by them are still output (e.g. to /node) and appear as "n/a" when a theme tries to render them.

Fun menu system bug

1. Alias 'blog' or other system path to something else. 2. Go to menu admin. 3. Get one more row for the blog item in the db every reload. (and it is even handled somewhat randomly, seemingly depending on surrounding menu items) I think I've traced this to the one line of code added with http://drupal.org/node/9477. The blog menu item is never found for de-duping since it is never searched for, so the menu system thinks it needs to make a new one every time. Possible solutions: - Revert the patch. - Check if the un-normalized path is in the 'path index' array before normalizing. - Disallow aliasing system paths. I am unsure how IIS would react to the settings.php file being outside of the virtual directory or how to configure it. Testing

I'm developing a new Drupal site. I'm about ready to move from my testing server to the main production server. I'm new to Drupal and I'm wondering if anybody would be willing to help me do testing. I'm not sure what come common mistakes Drupal implementers make so I'm hoping some people here know more than I. I'm mostly worried about security and any holes I might have left open. something interesting about isset and array_key_exists

Hi! As you might know, isset is preferred over array_key_exists because isset being a language construct it's a lot faster. I was under the impression that isset($array['foo']) and array_key_exists('foo', $array) is the same all the time. However, it's not. Yes, that's documented in the PHP manual but I think it's worth mentioning because we are now working with arrays a lot more: isset() does not return TRUE for array keys that correspond to a NULL value, while array_key_exists() does.
