[Translations] How to begin a new language

I was wondering whether you can indicate me how to begin a new language translation. I want to translate Drupal in Kinyarwanda, a Bantu language spoken bya 25 millions of people in East Africa. Looking for contrib translators

Hello all, New to the list since I do not do translations myself. I am the maintainer for the Postcard module (http://drupal.org/project/ postcard) and I was wondering what is the best way to go about finding folks who are willing to do translations for me? Someone that uses the module offered to get the Swedish translation done and I would love to get more languages in before I do a 5.x release. determining correct import

Hi, regarding to autolocale, i would like to ask if we have any option to determine language was correctly imported or not. Too many users on drupal.cz reports either their memory or time limit is exceeded or no error is printed and import was unsucessful (= less than 100% was imported). We need some fallback or determine a way how to speed up the process (cron?) Jakub

Hi, the #1 question regarding translating Drupal 5.0 using installation profiles is: > And why do you say 100% is translated? I enabled blog module and it is > not. Is there a way to hook into blog.install (for example) and perform AUTOMATIC import of translation, using auto locale module? So user will not have to run Administer -> Locale -> Auto Import ? I think this is the way we should focus now. Jakub
