Hi, I said in february that we got a new friendly extractor, which autodiscovers the Drupal files, so we don't need any command line magic. Today's update means that we don't need any command line at all. Just drop the extractor in any folder under Drupal in your webroot, access the file via the webserver in a browser, and see the pot files generating. The script still autodiscovers all Drupal related files in all subfolders recursively. Grab the new file from CVS or: http://href.hu/x/1i74 (a shortened CVS checkout address). Ps. actually the extractor worked over the web fine already, it just printed an ugly line and then nothing. This was changed today. It still prints all the t() errors found, so those can be fixed. how make several file name_module-module.po form single file codeOfconutry.po

Hi, I'm new on this, so hello to everyone. In previous in drupal 4.6 was single file xx.po but now in cvs i saw several files, each has name in format: module_name-module.po I export form drupal 4.7 file with translation of esperanto end it's single file, too. So, how can i generate this file from eo.po ? Maybe i haven't to do this? Arek. PS. I know that this is in FAQ bud i don't still known how upload my file with translation.

Not allowed to commit translation

Hi! I can no longer commit changes to the Swedish translation: ** Access denied: zoo33 does not have permission to commit files in: ** contributions/translations/sv I thought anyone could commit changes to translations regardless of whether or not you are the maintainer. I used to be able to commit changes right after I got my CVS account. Whats's going on? /zoo33

Locale module and gettext

Hi there, IIRC there has been speculation that using the gettext object files (.mo files) for storing translations instead of the database would be a lot faster. Unfortunately, I can not confirm this. It seems to be somewhat faster but not that much that I'd consider the inclusion of such a feature worthwhile. The configuration is rather awkward and error prone. Cheers, Gerhard
