Hi Oksana, Drupal has its l10n_server tool which lets you have an overview of most all of the Drupal localizations. This tool is in the process of being moved to drupal.org so translation teams will use it centrally, can share translations cross-project (as in cross-Drupal-contrib) and we will have a single source of translations for Drupal projects. This tool lets you know translation status by language, by project (such as how much of cck or views is translated to a specific language). This is one of the advantages of Drupal-specific tools for the community. Missing strings from translation 6.x templates

Hi, I noticed that there are a few missing strings from the translation templates for Drupal 6.x. Serbian translation

Hello list, I am looking for a Serbian translation for a Drupal site currently working on. I didn't find any Serbian language files on drupal.org. I don't speak Serbian, but I know that there are two written forms of the language. I need the language which uses latin letters (along with their special accentuated letters, but not the cyrillic one. Any directions where to look for? Thanks, Attila

Basic Drupal6 translation questions

Hi! I'm upgrading my project to Drupal 6 and I have a few questions regarding translations (UI). So I downloaded a translation from drupal.org and extracted all the files to their corresponding module directories. Unfortunately, the German translation is only a release candidate at the moment so there might be a stable version soon. How would I I update the translation then? "Note that the .po files within a translation package are imported automatically (if available) when new modules or themes are enabled, or as new languages are added." Can I somehow manually trigger a new import? My project is a kind of Drupal distribution with a few contrib modules being part of that. I don't use the sites/all/modules directory for these so the end-user is still able to keep track of her own modules but putting them in the main modules directory makes it harder to keep core up to date and to distinguish between core and contrib. So I put all my contrib modules in a subdirectory (modules/myproject/ contribmodule1). This works great but is this supported by the translation importer? Thanks, Martin

Language Icons 6.x-1.0 coming up

Hi all. After Jose split the Language Icons module out of the Internationalization (i18n) package, I became a co-maintainer... and then Jose decided to make me the proper maintainer. And it's pretty much closing in on being time for a proper release, so I'd like some eyeballs on the code[1] and let me know if there are any string changes that you feel need to be made. This should preferably be done before Sunday, as I'm going to Turkey Wednesday, which leads me to my next point... If I don't hear about any corrections that need to be made, Sunday will be "string freeze" (and rc1) point for Language Icons 6.x-1.x, and I'd like you to send in translations by then. I'll probably make the final release on the 10th of September, as that's the day after I've come home from Turkey. [1] http://drupal.org/node/287855 ps.
