Hi Romeu,
There is a long discussion back there in l.d.o about Quality of Translation versus Number of Translated Strings, please take a look. Just adding more maintainers is not a plain solution for the translation problem, IMHO having a bad translation is much worse than no translation.
Also, I don't think this list is the proper place to discuss this issue, as most of the team involved in the translation are not subscribed to this list, please open a new thread (or comment in an existing one) in l.d.o.
BTW, we will have a big Drupal event down in Campinas in the end of October, I would be glad if you could be joining us. Cheers, Fabiano Sant'Ana

Thank you for fast answer.
Well, my great idea it´s too simple, just add more maintainers. As you said, look at top 5 approved suggestions:
Top contributors
People with most approved translations
Initial transla... - 4718 translations zsanmartin - 401 translations (Already Mantainer) pedrofaria - 88 translations aleagi - 60 translations thiagomoraesp - 33 translations lourenzo - 18 translations
Like pedrofaria, aleagi, and simple add as maintainer. Sure, we need first ask them if they agree, but i can assure they will.
Quite simple, quite easy and fair with Brazilians Drupal users.
Theres a lot of ready material wating to be approved.
Sorry if i was not so clear, I just want to contribute to spread Drupal "Using". Unfortunely Brazilians are half educaded in english and we need portuguese language for develop.
Best Wishes, Romeu F Mello

Hi Romeu, Did you took a look at our discussion page in l.d.o?
First thing, I'm not the only one with approval role in our group.
Second, it is not true that I only approve my translations. You (and everyone interested) can check it yourself, open this page http://localize.drupal.org/translate/languages/pt-br and see that I'm only in the fifth position in the top contributors list.
Also, by your message doesn't seem that you even took a look in the pt-br l.d.o discussions page, as there is an discussion there about this topic, and it has been decided that the members who have the most approved suggestions will become maintainers (http://localize.drupal.org/node/80).
If you don't agree with this process you're welcome to submit your idea about how the process should be.
Cheers, Fabiano Sant'Ana

Our administrator in localize.drupal.org Brazilian team are WUNDO... and he dont aprove another translations.. he only aprove his own translations... and we have more suggestion than untraslated.. so we are stucked.
I think you have to consider to add another administrators to aprove... more open source way... more fair.
Sorry my terrible english. That why i need the translation files... we have suggestions to be aproved since February. I Think its became slow, and unfair... Please Solve this in some way.
Best Regards.
