Ok, thank you for your answers and advice, that is what I wanted to know.

Thanks for your answer!
The current plan is that we are going to have a central server setup on drupal.org.
Is there some prediction about time when that will be done?
No.
Also I must ask you where I could find updated pots for 5.x, since
those
here (http://drupal.org/project/drupal-pot) are from July of last
year?
With l10n_server, you just need to drop in the latest Drupal 5 release (no need for specific templates).
Well, thats how I understood it will work, and thats why I asked about l10n_server. So, what are you suggest, should I go to test server (since I don't
want to
setup new one; I see that they on drupaler.ru accept several languages)
and
there upload my .po file and start updating non translated strings (I understood from your explanation that translations from current servers
will
be imported to central one, so nothing will be lost) or do it as it was
done
till l10n_server (or third option to wait creation of l10n_server on drupal.org, if it will be created soon)?
I don't you what's your definition of "soon", I have no idea when the translation server will be up on drupal.org. It could be 1 to 7 months or more. I'd advise you join the Serbian team if there is one, or establish a Serbian team and choose a localization server, if there is none yet for Serbian.
