Missing strings from translation 6.x templates

Hi, I noticed that there are a few missing strings from the translation templates for Drupal 6.x. Serbian translation

Hello list, I am looking for a Serbian translation for a Drupal site currently working on. I didn't find any Serbian language files on drupal.org. I don't speak Serbian, but I know that there are two written forms of the language. I need the language which uses latin letters (along with their special accentuated letters, but not the cyrillic one. Any directions where to look for? Thanks, Attila

Basic Drupal6 translation questions

Hi! I'm upgrading my project to Drupal 6 and I have a few questions regarding translations (UI). So I downloaded a translation from drupal.org and extracted all the files to their corresponding module directories. Unfortunately, the German translation is only a release candidate at the moment so there might be a stable version soon. How would I I update the translation then? "Note that the .po files within a translation package are imported automatically (if available) when new modules or themes are enabled, or as new languages are added." Can I somehow manually trigger a new import? My project is a kind of Drupal distribution with a few contrib modules being part of that. I don't use the sites/all/modules directory for these so the end-user is still able to keep track of her own modules but putting them in the main modules directory makes it harder to keep core up to date and to distinguish between core and contrib. So I put all my contrib modules in a subdirectory (modules/myproject/ contribmodule1). This works great but is this supported by the translation importer? Thanks, Martin

Language Icons 6.x-1.0 coming up

Hi all. After Jose split the Language Icons module out of the Internationalization (i18n) package, I became a co-maintainer... and then Jose decided to make me the proper maintainer. And it's pretty much closing in on being time for a proper release, so I'd like some eyeballs on the code[1] and let me know if there are any string changes that you feel need to be made. This should preferably be done before Sunday, as I'm going to Turkey Wednesday, which leads me to my next point... If I don't hear about any corrections that need to be made, Sunday will be "string freeze" (and rc1) point for Language Icons 6.x-1.x, and I'd like you to send in translations by then. I'll probably make the final release on the 10th of September, as that's the day after I've come home from Turkey. [1] http://drupal.org/node/287855 ps. Hi, I'm new using DRUPAL. Im stuck at one point while creating a site. Actually i want my site to support multiple language. So i want to know the way for giving multi language support in my site. I've downloaded Unisaraswati module. But i think its not sufficient. So could u plz help me! I'll be greatful to u.

How to translate existing content from English to Chinees?

Hello: I am new to Drupal. My project need to convert a site built in English with Drupal 5.8 (with PHP5) to Chinese. I could convert the interface, but not content (mostly blogs written in English). I tried i18n_auto and gtrans both modules with supportive module, but didn't get desire result. Any help will be highly appreciated. Khmer translations for Drupal 6.x

Hello, I have finished translating Drupal into Khmer for 6.x. I try to add new release in existing Khmer translations download page but I meet the problem said that: " ERROR: There are no CVS tags for this module that do not already have a release associated with them. To create a release, you must first create either a new CVS tag on one of the existing branches for this project, or you must add a new CVS branch. Once you have created a tag or branch that should be used for your new release, try pressing the Retry link to continue." I have 5.x translation in download page already: http://drupal.org/project/Translations So I post it in support request in http://drupal.org/node/279223 Could anyone please tell me how to send the translation? Release of Pathauto 5.x-2.3 and 6.x-1.1 coming up

Hi all! Greg Knaddison (aka greggles) and I have just committed the last stuff pending for 5.x-2.x and 6.x-1.x of Pathauto, before we wanted to call out for testers and translators. So now we're calling out to testers and translators! And I'm obviously calling out for the latter (see http://groups.drupal.org/node/12559 if you want to help with testing). Unless something major comes up, Pathauto 5.x-2.3 and 6.x-1.1 will be released Thursday next week.
