Psicomante sent a message using the contact form at http://drupal.org/contact. I can't update the dev version of Italian translation. Though i update the status committing via CVS, the package remains the same. Thanks for help.

Dear sir, Author named killes wrongfully using the language tag listed by http://www.iana.org/assignments/language-subtag-registry for Mynmar, ie it should be Mymr NOT My which is intended for Malaysia, I'm from Malaysia and I wanted to contribute for the translations of Bahasa Malaysia for Drupal Core, however this killes has hijacked the language tag for Malaysia.. Commiting translation

Hi I recently got a CVS account so that I could upload the macedonian Drupal translation, and become its maintainer. So I need to ask some questions. Apart from commiting to the right branch (currently DRUPAL-5--2 ?) and opening a project, is there any other responsibility for me as a translation maintainer? Do I have to create the tarball (probably something like mk-5.x-1.x-dev.tar.gz) my self or is there some script to do that? If I work on trunk, will that show automagically in the next version of Drupal? Is there a template how to create the project page? I did some search on the mailing list archives, but I'm still not sure about these questions. Any help would be apreciated. Best regards Bozidar Proevski

Image Assist translators: Call for action

Hi all, a new version of Image Assist is about to be released in about 2 or 3 days. If you like to update your translation for this release, please act quickly. I've just updated the translation template, so it should be available in the latest development snapshot within the next 12 hours. 6.x Translation?

I know it's only beta1 and may take a couple iterations to reach string-freeze or RC, but it's time to start thinking about translations! Are there any guidelines on drupal 6.x translation process? I remember seeing conversations on reorganizing all the translation projects, a localization server etc. Are they being deployed? Any plans, updates? Thanks, Jim

A couple of untranslated strings in 5.x core

Hello people, I've noticed a couple of untranslated strings in Drupal 5.1. Here's the procedure I've followed: 1) Installed a fresh Drupal 5.1. 2) Enabled all modules. 3) Added the greek language as a secondary language in Localization settings page. 4) Imported the translated .po file for greek [the translation is 100% complete, the Localization settings page reports 2431/2431 (100%)]. 5) Changed the site's default language to greek. In the navigation menu in left, under Create content, the names and the descriptions for the Page and Story content types are untranslated and remain in English. Is this a bug? Over at http://drupal.org/node/155878 I was asked to give translators some time to update their translations for the official 5.x-2.0 release of the update_status module. The 5.x-2.0-rc2 release[1] is now out, a string freeze is in place, the translation templates are up to date, and the official release should be out in about 2 or 3 days. So, if you want to get your translation of this "must-have" D5 contrib module into the official 5.x-2.0 release, please act quickly. If you're planning to do this, you can reply to the issue [2] to indicate your interest, and I'll try to hold off on tagging the release until I see your commit or .po file attached there.
